"The building is dilapidated. The pool has a sign closed for maintenance. The jacuzzi is permanently closed, the room for the pool was very cold. We got a room with a pull out couch. It was broken and un able to be pulled out. The heater/ac unit was very loud. The soundproofing beetween rooms was poor and the upstairs elephants were on parade most of the night. Our key cards were deactivated at 9am and staff were unable to issue us working cards for the remainder of our time. The kids were dissaponted and the adults did not sleep. Overall will not return. "

"This hotel was very clean. The initial staff at check-in was very polite. The staff changed at 11 PM was very rude. Breakfast didn’t start till 7 AM and most of the guest staying with us had to be leaving at that time. Nice place to say but rude late shift staff. Not staying here again."

"We had a great experience. The staff was great! We had an issue with the internet but the front desk was quick to help us fix it. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. They had a nice breakfast in the morning. The noise from the highway is pretty loud so if you are noise sensitive you would want to have a noise machine. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! "

"Staff was great!! She was dealing with a lot of customers concerning the ever changing weather conditions. Started out as a possibility of snow on Sunday and instead became a Blizzard Warning for Sunday coming thru Saturday afternoon. She handled it all like a pro!!"

"The absolute worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. Blood stains on pillow cases, walls falling apart, hair on “clean towels” and lack of a pool being available when it states there was one. Given the unsanitary conditions & pool being unavailable, we checked out early and were promised a refund by management but now, Best Western has refused. We have taken it to corporate but I would absolutely avoid this hotel at all costs. "

"What a wonderful place to stay. It was perfect for our quick trip to Iowa. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and the home is clean, decorated beautifully with plenty of amenities. In addition, we had a small issue when we arrived, and the owner responded immediately and was a pleasure to work with."
