You'll be within driving distance of the titular Grayland State Park, where a nature trail awaits you and your friends for a relaxing hike. Along the Pacific coastline's 18-mile stretch, you'll be welcomed by its plentiful acres of cranberry bogs, a variety of gift shops, and the famed Grays Harbor Lighthouse, Washington State's tallest lighthouse. Swing by the Westport boardwalk and take in the scenic views of Grays Harbor and watch the boats tread the shimmering waters at the Westport Marina. Enjoy the wide array of stores, coffee shops, and restaurants as well! Back at this stunning home away from home, you'll have a wide variety of amenities right at your fingertips for some much-deserved rest and relaxation. You'll have your run of the place, with three bedrooms (two downstairs), a full kitchen, and a bonus room upstairs—with complete WiFi running all throughout the home in case you get an email. Settle down in the spacious living area with your friends and crack open some thirst-quenching drinks over some board games. Afterward, if you're all feeling a bit hungry, step into the kitchen and cook a delectable meal for everyone at the home. Gather around the dining table and feast on a tasty homemade meal, then head out to the patio and watch the sunset from the comfort of your chair. You'll have the family room downstairs and the large bonus room upstairs at your fingertips, complete with large TVs, puzzles, and many games for the entire family to enjoy. This home also comes equipped with two bathrooms and a full-size washer/dryer for your convenience. Around the evening, you can roast some marshmallows over some crackling wood in the firepit. BUT... when we opened up the door and walked in, the place was nicely decorated in beach theme and it was clean and comfortable. PLUS... we were able to walk down the street and had a nice path directly to the beach. The beach access was such a nice surprise. We even saw a baby seal sunbathing. We celebrated my son and daughter-in-law's birthday at a nearby restaurant that was comfortable, classy and great food. We also went to the pier and had a great time walking around. It is a great location with access to local beaches and restaurants in Grayland and Westport. There is definitely room for improvement in a few of the amenities. The kitchen had a rather old coffee pot. There were no dish cloths or hand towels in the kitchen and no wash cloths or hand towels in either bathroom. A lamp in the living area was completely broken and unsafe.All efforts to contact the proper manager by email resulted in what seemed to be robotic replies. In all fairness to the property manager, I probably could have contacted a live person if I had used a telephone.The key was in a lock box.
