Welcome to The Pelican House - a new oceanfront vacation rental home. The Pelican House offers a unique opportunity for a single person, couple or small family or group of friends to enjoy an oceanfront vacation without having to rent a larger home at a much greater expense. The home has just undergone a top to bottom remodel. If you are looking for an oceanfront stay that checks all the boxes, this may very well be the home for you - fantastic ocean and sunset views - easy access private beach path - dog friendly with large enclosed yard - covered front porch with Weber gas grill and seating area - large oceanside deck - nice open floor plan with ocean views from every room - 55 inch tv - Xfinity internet - air conditioning - soothing electric fireplace - one level home. Everything is NEW - appliances, flooring, decking, paint, pots/pans and all kitchen gadgets, mattresses and bed and bath linens.

Beach access - wander down a short and private well-maintained trail to the beach. Our section of beach is excellent for razor clamming - during approved digs.

Views - fantastic ocean views from every room in the house. Relax oceanside on the large deck and enjoy the ocean and sunset views. Bald eagles frequent the driftwood perches.

One level living - While there are steps to get into the home, once inside there are no steps - everything is on one level.

Outdoor spaces - The Pelican House has a covered front porch with seating and Weber gas BBQ grill. The oceanside of the home has a large deck with a table for dining and additional seating. Directly off the deck is a large, enclosed yard area - perfect for the dog.

TV & Internet - We have Xfinity internet and a 55-inch Smart TV - Live and local television is provided through our YouTube TV account. Guests can use their personal apps to view shows on Netflix or Amazon etc.

Coffee! - Questions about what type of coffee maker are common, as well as what is and isn't provided. We have a Keurig - the machine uses the Keurig coffee pods and also brews ground coffee. We provide a starter supply of ground coffee and filters, but guests would need to provide their own coffee pods. We also supply a starter supply of sugar packets and a few tea bags. There is also a hot water kettle for boiling water. NOW to enjoy your morning coffee on the oceanside deck or on the covered front porch - decisions, decisions!

Dog Friendly - We are dog friendly and allow up to two dogs total. If bringing dog(s) we do ask that guests first message us and include information such as breed, age and approximate weight of dog(s). There is a large, enclosed area in the backyard. This area can be accessed by either of two sets of stairs from the oceanside deck - very convenient to let the dog in and out. There is a hose if the dog's paws need rinsed.

Guest limit - The Pelican House caters to singles and small groups seeking a quiet and relaxing visit to the coast. Our maximum occupancy is 4 guests - with advance discussion, approval and a small additional fee, we may allow up to 5 guests. The couch is a sleeper sofa bed - this is not made up unless the need is communicated ahead of time. If guests are traveling in an RV, camper or with a boat, we do require advance notice - our rental permit does not allow guests to stay overnight in the RV or camper.

Not familiar with Grayland or the South Beach? - we ARE and can answer questions you may have - either before or during your stay. We are available for our guests and want our guests to have the most enjoyable stay as possible.

About US! - South Beach Vacation Rentals LLC is proud to partner with the owners of The Pelican House. The owners have taken great lengths with interior and exterior renovations to make the home an excellent addition to the vacation rental offerings on the South Beach. While The Pelican House is a new addition to the vacation rental offerings, we have been offering vacation rental homes in the South Beach area since 2012 and have hosted thousands of guests at several homes. We know the area well and can answer questions on area attractions such as retail and restaurant information. We provide our guests with a detailed list of area attractions.
