We absolutely loved our visit to the Chalet. It was just as pictured and so very peaceful. We spent countless hours in the spa enjoying the amazing views. The bed was to die for....we did not want to get out of bed each morning. Sadly we did not have and visits from the woodland critters. We will definitely be back.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The location is easy to find and close to amenities while also being private with luscious views. The chalet itself is gorgeous, so well laid out, and has everything you need. Its beautiful with lots of light. The hosts home is close by but you'd never know they're there. This was everything we were looking for and more. We will absolutely be returning again!
Gorgeous chalet with lovely fixtures, wood floors, cozy hot tub with complimentary bath robes, well appointed kitchen. The shower is deliciously large. Bed capacious with super comfy comforters. Everything is meticulously clean, fresh, new. I want to go back asap. Thank you!
This place was the perfect place to lay back and unwind. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. Outside was amazing with different areas to sit and enjoy nature. My family and I didn't want to leave.
The property was amazing! It is close enough to Grants Pass where we could still go in for stuff, but its far enough that we could be out in the woods. The hosts were awesome, and we will definitely be keeping this location in mind for future stays in the area!
Amazing cabin tucked up in the hills above Grants Pass! Very high end finishes and very quiet surroundings. Note this is not great for those with mobility issues - lots of stairs and the walk and parking area in gravel that might be challenging for those who have difficulty walking.
We love this location and the beautiful chalet, watching the family of deer every morning and relaxing in the hot tub at night would definitely recommend and may possibly return
Thank you so much for sharing! Hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking, everything was very clean ans anything we needed they brought over fast!
We loved this chalet. Everything was very clean. Hit tub was a perfect size. Located just minutes out of town but feels like you are out in the woods. Liked watching the turkeys and deer. Will definitely book again.
It was absolutely stunning. Every detail was thought of and we had the most restful time staying here. It truly blessed us and we hope to make this our new getaway destination. The turkeys, the views, the silence, the hot tub, the coziness of the house…. All completely phenomenal.
My husband and I loved staying here. So comfortable, beautiful, and well stocked. The privacy was quite good. The grounds were beautiful. The host was pleasant and helpful but not intrusive. We found the shower finicky to get the right temperature on and the umbrella outside didn't work well, so extremely minor complaints. Not the absolute most convenient place to access the city or Applegate valley, but that's the trade off for the natural surroundings and quiet.
Super clean and cute. Feels private even though on shared property. The listing is misleading saying two bedrooms when there is only one bedroom. There is a loft (with a small foam mat) at the top of a long ladder and a pull out couch, but is not a bedroom. Otherwise the property was beautiful, peaceful, and unique.
Pictures do not do this remarkable find justice! Very nice setting and well thought out living space with all the amenities. Angela the host was more than helpful and prompt with messaging. Great base camp for so much to see near Grants Pass. Hot tub was a plus after hiking for the day. Wildlife abundant on property. Will be returning hopefully soon. Thank you for sharing the chalet with us! It was a great stay.
Everything about our stay can be summed up in one word - delightful! Check in could not have been easier. The place was SPOTLESS. We sat in the hot tub the first morning with cool rain coming down in the forest around us and the song of birds in the trees. When we came back at night, the sounds of the creek were so soft and welcoming. The bed was firm but surprisingly comfortable. The couch was not a broken down mess like in some other places we have stayed, but fresh and supportive. The slanted driveway was challenging in heals, but once I switched to flats I had no problem. I will say, this place would not be good for abyone with hip or knee problems as there is a sloped driveway to park in and several steps inside (as mentioned in the listing). Angela, the host, was wonderful and communicated with is a lot until we checked in, then left us to our stay with a promise to respond if we needed anything else.
Beautifully build and decorated chalet. We were on our 2 week road trip honeymoon and this was our last stop before heading home and by far the nicest place we stayed. It was exactly what we needed after 2 weeks on the road.
A wonderful little retreat!!! The cabin is beautiful and spacious for a small footprint, great use of space!! We enjoyed the hot tub and all of the wildlife that would stop by for a visit.

The chalet was comfortable and well-appointed in a beautiful area. We saw lots of deer, turkeys, and so many different species of birds! It is located close enough to town that dining and activities are easily accessible. We highly recommended the chalet and we intend to return often!
