Grants Hotel Guide. Independent Hotels in Grants, New Mexico

This is a good hotel if you are traveling through and want to stay overnight close to Acoma Sky City. Since Acoma Sky City is sort of remote and has narrow visiting hours, staying here on your trip through enables you to be there in only 25 minutes. The hotel is a Casino hotel (I didn't use the casino section). There is nothing around, since it is next to a highway. For dinner, you will be restricted to the hotel restaurant, which serves excellent Texmex and Indian food, though. The only other alternative for food is a McDonalds due to the remote location. The rooms have older furniture, but are comfy. The hotel generally was clean. The check-in was extremely slow - they couldn't find the reservation from Expedia and searched around for 30 minutes without communication with us at all.

I was a bit "taken aback" by the run down location of the motel, but the staff were very friendly. The room itself needed and "upgrade" a a little cleaning, which I did myself. For the price, it suited me just fine.
