Awesome views and nice amenities
We had our whole family gather and stay here for a family wedding nearby and the accommodations were a great fit for the 10 of us (plus an infant). The tranquil lake views were wonderful and the grandkids loved playing in the sand at the lake. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The driveway is tricky to navigate but we got that down as well. Donna was super nice, responsive and helpful, and we would love to come back in the future!

Beautiful Peaceful Home on Granite Bay
We had a wonderful stay with our friends of 30+ years. Amazing sunrises and sunsets each day. The home served as our home away from home while celebrating our son’s wedding festivities in Auburn and Newcastle. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful cliffside home
We had a great time in this well designed, artistic and well equipped retreat home with a commanding view of Folsom Lake. In spite of the low lake level, the view is superb and the trees give just the right amount of shade to the deck.

Best Mornings you’ll ever experience
We we thrilled with the view and access to the lake. We would start the morning with the sunrise and walk on the path to the calm lake. House is perfectly located for convenience and access to shopping/food but feels like you’re away from it all. Loved this stay and strongly recommend it.

Great property for a lakeside beach vacation!
We stayed at this property with a few friends and kids. The house is well setup to accommodate a sizable group. The amenities are great, including a large kitchen, excellent grill, and patio area. The location is conveniently right on the shore of the lake with a nice swimmable beach and shore area.

Awesome location !
This house was the perfect "home base" while we were in town for a wedding. While some of us had wedding related activities the rest of the gang could take advantage of the huge deck and the various options the lake provided. The owners met us at the house and provided all kinds of information and instructions for their beautiful home. Lots of notes and helpful information throughout the house as well. We all appreciated the "kitchen map" when it helped us find the coffee maker quickly & easily.

Comfortable accommodations with a beautiful view
We had an excellent experience. The property was well represented in the pictures and very organized. The only thing that was disappointing was the heat/lack of air in the third floor space. The outside temperature got up to 99 degrees during our stay and that upstairs space was uncomfortably warm during the day. In the evenings it cooled down with open windows and a cross-breeze. That was our only surprise. Everything else was great. I would recommend it and stay there again.

Relaxing. Great set up. Elegant home.
Our larger group fell apart so two of us decided to make it a quiet weekend for reading, goal setting, walking, etc. We loved the setup of the casa featuring fabulous bedrooms and the kitchen / great room opened to a fabulous deck where we spent most of our time watching the sun rise and sun set, drinking great wine and visiting with friends. Our goal for the weekend was successful and we would return and recommend hands down!

Absolute Perfection! Even more beautiful than the pictures!
We rented this fabulous lakefront home to house extra bridal party members for a family wedding. It could not have been more perfect! The home is stunning, beautifully appointed, and well maintained. Donna could not have been kinder or more helpful and made everyone feel right at home. Runners in the group loved stepping out the back door to the bike trail for a run alongside the lake. Sunrise and sunsets over the lake were enjoyed by all. Thank you for making this an amazing stay!

Very Well Appointed Home!
My siblings get together every year, usually in a VRBO home large enough to accommodate four couples. This was, by far, the best appointed house we've ever rented. We're foodies so usually do a lot of cooking. We wanted for nothing...it was all there! The accommodations were very comfortable and the view from the deck, lovely. Donna, our host, was so accommodating. I'd go back in a heartbeat!!

Nice and clean with all the amenities.
The owner was very gracious and helpful. She showed us some things around the house, which helped us assimilate quickly. The house is amazing! The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of towels were provided and other necessities, like soap for the dishwasher and washing machine. It is such a comfortable and well-appointed property. The lake views are amazing.

What a wonderful destination!
Our special group of 7 long-time girlfriends who now live all over the country, get together once a year. Casa d'Amore was the perfect destination for a relaxing time to talk, walk, play games, eat and rest. We loved: waking up every morning to see the sunrise over the lake, playing bocce ball on the beach as the sun was setting, taking walks along the trails and just sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake with a glass of wine. Donna could not have been nicer and her home is absolutely spectacular - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with a very well-equipped kitchen. We loved every moment and were very sad to leave.

Amazing home with an unforgetable view
Writing this review a little late, as time got the best of me, but could not go on without telling you all about this gorgeous place. We had an extended girls weekend (our 15th year of girls weekend) and we could not have found a better house in Granite Bay. There were 10 of us at the house and it was so spacious. It never felt crowded. There was several pots/pans for cooking. Plenty of cups/plates utensils for all. There are plenty of beds and they were very comfortable. The decor of the house is beautiful. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. The backyard was a popular place in the late evening for us to catch up with each other. The lake is literally a few steps from the backyard. We spent a day on the beach and enjoyed the water. In the mornings we walked on the trail and even managed to stray a little too far and had to get someone on the trail to point us back to the right direction as we had somehow passed our landmark! Great shopping nearby at the Folsom Palladio; we all even got to catch a movie (Girl's Trip) together at the Palladio. Found some unique shops at Historic Folsom and had lunch and Marley and Moo's (highly recommend). Great restaurants nearby. Had an awesome dinner at Paul Martin's. Parking can be difficult with a large group, so carpooling is definitely recommended. Donna worked with our group as we all came from different places for our weekend and it all worked out fine. Donna is a great host! She greeted us at the door and explained everything we needed to know about the house. Learned about her commitment in working with at risk youth which I found very admirable. If we ever plan to another weekend in Granite Bay/Folsom, this is a place we will definitely come back to.

This home is beautiful inside and outside! The views of the Lake are spectacular! It is extremely well decorated and equipped. The owners make every effort to feel welcome and provide for all your needs. Eight ex-teachers loved staying here!

This place is BEAUTIFUL! The host (Donna) was very accommodating. The detail in the home and decor was perfect! Although we went out on the town, most of our nights were spent outside enjoying the view, playing card games on the patio and taking walks along the trail. Could not have asked for more!

Best Folsom Lake Experience Ever!
This home was amazing The views are beautiful.waking up each day to stunning lakes views and the day with the night lights twinkling across the lake . All the beds are very comfortable. Everyone woke up praising their bed and what a good nights sleep they had. Home is close to everything, grocery store, resturantes , outdoor activities...all just minutes away yet it feels so removed from the buzz of daily life. Already booked a return visit. Donna is so kind and helpful. Even farm fresh eggs in the fridge for breakfast !

Beautiful views, excellent getaway for outdoor lovers!
We arrived late to the home, but we were warmly welcomed by Todd who was careful to show us all the details of this beautiful home. Traveling with three little ones often means sleepless nights for everyone but I have to say we all slept soundly the entire stay!! We loved the proximity to the Folsom Rec Area and access to the trails literally steps from our back door. We definitely plan to return in the warmer months to explore the area again! The home was beyond our expectations, in immaculate condition and well thought out in terms of amenities. Thank you!
