Welcome to North Haus. Enjoy family and friends with beautiful views of Devil Track Lake from many rooms, a cozy fire in the primary suite or family room. Enjoy lawn games and a fire pit by the lake for evening campfires.
Grand Marais is well known for its spectacular outdoor activities year round. Go hiking on the Superior trail, mountain biking at Lutsen, sea kayaking in Lake Superior, golfing at multiple courses or just relax by the shore with your friends and a cool refreshment.
In wintertime enjoy downhill skiing at the Midwest's biggest and best ski area, Lutsen Mountain. The cross country skiing boasts some of the best conditions along with great views for all ability levels. Snowshoeing is also a great way to explore the forests! We also have the best snowmobile trails in northern Minnesota. There are local rental outfitters if you need.
Grand Marais is widely known for its arts community. There are galleries, live theatre, dragon boat races, and much more. We have a plethora of outstanding restaurants, shops, and of course the North House Folk School.
Please enjoy also the use of the canoe and kayaks located near the shore. Please bring along proper life jackets.
