Serene Loft for Outdoor Lovers

Welcome to the loft. The perfect location for outdoor activities in nearby Flagstaff, Sedona and The Grand Canyon

4 guests max. Extra $25 per guest per night for more than 2 guests.
Bright & comfy guest house in the Ponderosa pine forest.

Just 5 minutes to Fort Tuthill and 30 minutes drive down the beautiful, scenic 89A to Sedona.

This 700 sf, fully renovated loft is above the main house. It is entirely independent with its own private exterior entrance and fenced yard. It has an open living-dining-kitchen area with a sofa or spare mattress and a bedroom with a queen size bed (latex and organic cotton mattress). The bathroom is very roomy with toilet, sink and shower. Skylights (which are equipped with electric blinds) and color scheme makes the place very bright. The T.V. features Roku and Netflix. The kitchen is fully equipped: gas range, sink, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, trash-recycle. You will find coffee and tea at your disposal. The bathroom has a single vanity, shower and toilet. The bedroom is located at the end of the loft with a big picture window. It has a queen size bed (latex and organic cotton mattress) and a small desk. Bedding and linens are included and always freshly cleaned. Extra queen mattress.
The entry balcony or backyard are perfect to relax, have a breakfast or dinner during the wonderful summer months. You will find a wide array of guide books and other resources to discover the area.

Our house is located on the south edge of Flagstaff, in a small serene neighborhood surrounded by national forest. It is approximately 7 minutes drive to town by the interstate or the frontage road and 2 minutes drive to the airport.
Only 1.5 hour from the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff is the perfect location to experience all the beauty the southwest can offer.
In winter you can ski at our local ski resorts or snowshoe just outside our door.
For day trips, we have the Grand Canyon, Sedona (30 minutes drive), Lake Powell, Monument Valley and all the other hidden treasures we will reveal to you.
Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonland National Parks are all located within a day of driving.

The loft-apartment will become our home in a few years. We ask you to respect the place as if it was yours. We devoted time and effort to make it what it is now and would love to enjoy it as well, when time comes.

We are working professionals and live below the place. No late night party or noise at the house after 10:00pm.

If you are a smoker, even if not allowed in the amenities, the yard is big enough for your cigarette break as long as you clean up after yourself. Fire danger restrictions always apply (check Coconino County Fire Restrictions).

We will treat you as if you were our friend or family but if you need more privacy, don't be afraid to ask for it.

The house is not a venue and guests should not host gatherings of any kind. Please refer to "Additional Info" for pet policies, occupancy details and other critical information.

Great convenient stay

The location is perfect to base and explore the Flagstaff/Sedona/Grand Canyon area. Private but close to retail and restaurants. Coming back for sure.

Nice place/great hosts

The place was great as a homebase to reach so many attractions, it was clean with a well-stocked kitchen. It was unfortunate that there was a winter storm on the night of our arrival and everything was pretty much shut down for the next 2 days, but Robert and Aude were so accommodating and responsive to our needs, and that helped ease the pain that the bad weather brought onto us as we are from Wisconsin.

Perfect base for day trips

We stayed 3 nights. It's a great base if you're hiking near by, in Sedona, or going to the Grand Canyon. Very comfortable, clean, quiet neighborhood. Hosts were very friendly and answered texts right away.

Our bluegrass weekend stay!

Great place for us to stay while we attended the Pickin' in the Pines. It was a very easy short drive. The Serene Loft was just what we needed. It was a very nice place for us to stay. It was quiet and met all our needs. The hosts were very accomodating to our last minute change. They respond quickly to any questions. This is a place we would definitely come back to.

Easy access to airport, downtown and highways but also very quiet. Beautifully done upper apt with everything you need. Full kitchen was especially nice floor a long stay. Highly recommended!

Coconino Horse Trials

Wonderful place in the cool fresh air of Flagstaff

What a great place with great hosts. The property is conveniently located close to town with hiking trails just around the corner. The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My girlfriend and I had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the house in general. I look forward to staying again and when you stay, make sure you take a moment to look at the stars at night.

Serene Loft

The property was fresh & clean. Based on the VRBO listing we were expecting a futon for our adult son to sleep on. But the futon has been replaced with a love seat couch that doesn't make into a bed. There was a floor mattress there for him to use & he found that comfortable enough. It would have been nice to have a large proper chef knife there since we did a lot of cooking. Overall a nice, cute place to stay.

Flagstaff Loft

This loft was very clean and the perfect size for Myself, husband and 19 year old son. I assumed there would be a fold out couch but there was a mattress you lay on the floor. Not a big deal to us, but it might matter to someone else. I thought this place might be a little more remote but it was in a neighborhood with a lot of neighbors and a 10 minute drive to town. Again, a nice place.
