Lakefront Newly Renovated 3 BedroomWith Easy Access to Acadia, MDI and Schoodic

"This house was the perfect stay for our family! Clean, comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view overlooking the lake and nice sunroom. Kids played on the beach. We kayaked with the provided gear. The host provided s’mores and some firewood for the fire pit, which was a very nice touch. Grill, fishing gear, cooler, and outdoor table and chairs were available as well, but we did not use them. We stayed here as a home base for Acadia NP. Took us about 45 min-hour to get to our park destinations, but it was very close to Ellsworth (which had restaurants, Walmart, etc.) The only negative was the road noise at times. The house was on a fairly busy road next to a bridge. We would definitely recommend this listing to others and would stay again ourselves! The host was very helpful and thorough in her communication."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It wasn’t fancy but it was clean. We loved being so close to the lake. Having the fire pit and chairs by the water was perfect. The water is clear and the little “beach” area and pathways to the water were very clean. There is a table and chairs with a grill right outside the back door which is great. My only complaint is the beds were very uncomfortable. They did have a foam topper but a newer mattress would be better. Other than that, the pillows, bedding and towels were good quality. We had trouble with the lock at first but customer support was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!"

"This was a cute, rustic little cabin with a lovely little beach area that would be easy for getting into the kayaks provided or for swimming. We visited when it was too cold for either, but it was wonderful to sit and enjoy the view and the loons. Our dog felt right at home and it was a great spot for our excursions to Acadia and Bangor."

"Such a wonderful, beautiful, Unique property. Can't say how much I LOVED "camping" there. (I put camping in quotes because its more like GLAMPING.) Everything you could possibly need to go camping is already there. The little A frame for sleeping was perfect. Mattress was cozy and comfortable. It is right on a lake that is great for canoeing. There is another lake about 5 minutes down the road that is the MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE that has amazing swimming. Ask the owner for directions. The owner is amazing. Very communicative. Very helpful. Very kind. We are definitely doing back to stay on July the 4th. Such a perfect time to be there. Very thankful we found that place. The owner is a peach. Super sweet. 😀"

"This is by far one of the best hosted houses we have ever stayed in. There was not one thing that we needed that was not provided. From excellent cookware, a well stocked kitchen, baby supplies, kayaks and life jackets. We couldn’t have asked for more. The grounds were lovely, the beach amazing, and the house immaculate. My only hesitation in recommending it is that others will find this gem and we won’t be able to rent it next time! Thank you so much for such a thoughtfully maintained home!"
