"My family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in late March. The house was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. There are many chairs, coolers, towels, snorkeling gear, and even some floaties available for use. The view is amazing, I could never tire of the view. The beach is a short walk down a couple flights of wooden stairs. The sand is fine, soft, white with pink mixed in. You can walk for miles and miles in either direction. We will be back!"

"We loved this house with an incredible view of the harbor! Being centrally located on the island, we were able to explore a lot of the island. And the house was well supplied with kitchen items and linens! We would definitely there again if the opportunity arose!"

"The Beach House at Flipper’s Refuge was perfect for us in every way! The place is immaculate, I’m not kidding when I say you could eat off the floor! Flipper is the ultimate host, she is friendly and kind and exudes an upbeat and joyful energy but she knows exactly when to show up and when to give you space. She lives next door and was there for us when we needed her and invisible when we did not. She knows everything and everyone on the island and made a call for us when we suddenly needed a taxi at the last minute. The decor is fun and cheerful and the beds were super comfortable with brand new mattresses and crisp air dried sheets. There was not one thing we needed during our 5 day stay that was not immediately available. The location is ideal with breathtakingly beautiful beach at the bottom of the street and the mid-island location in governor’s harbor is perfect for accessing all of that Eleuthera has to offer in all directions. We can’t wait to go back!!"

"The property was nice, quiet and peaceful. I truly enjoy the tranquility of the property. My only concern is the area gets dark if you’re alone but the island I extremely safe. I would book again with a few friends. "

"We had a bit of a rocky journey getting there. Unrelated to our stay purely weather related. That said once we arrived, everything was perfect. It was a beautiful beach house right on the ocean. The weather was perfect. We loved Eleuthera and the host was wonderful. They provided a lengthy list of things to do….helping us arrange activities for the kids, as well as helping with rentals and things to do throughout our stay. Thank you so much!"

"The house is well appointed with everything that you need to live there. There are a collection of toiletries as well as TP and PT. The kitchen has all you need to cook (stay like you live there) with seasonings -we added garlic powder, mustard, Mayo and salad dressing- all the small appliances and kitchen equipment is there. The grill is nice, and we used it a few times. Your beach days are covered with chairs, mats, toys and snorkel gear for the family. Bring your fishing poles! Don’t fill your suitcase with beach towels they have many. The lovely pool and deck with lounges gives you something to do on your “down time.” The two upper decks are ideal for sunrise, sunset, star gazing, meals and a spectacular space launch we saw go right over head!! The location is perfect for exploring the island top to bottom. Jethro and Cate, your hosts, go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. With tips on where to eat, what to see and things you shouldn’t miss while you’re staying. If you want to live like a local and have it feel like your home. Stay here, I assure you you won’t be disappointed."
