"Owner was arrogant . We arrived at 2:45pm and check in was at 4pm . Instead of saying sorry I would love to accommodate you , he smirked and said well your early and check in is at 4pm. Our booking agency’s site indicated a heated pool , when we got there there was no pool. We asked if we could check out earlier because of that error and it was a NO. Called our booking company and said it’s up to the owner to refund and it was a NO. As well this is a B&B at 100€ per night. No breakfast included...

"Un immense merci à Christophe pour ce merveilleux séjour à Solenzara ! La maison est tout simplement superbe : très agréable, parfaitement entretenue, confortable et idéalement située. Tout est pensé pour que l’on s’y sente bien et que l’on passe de magnifiques vacances.Mais au-delà de la maison, nous tenions surtout à remercier Christophe pour la personne qu’il est. Un hôte exceptionnel, d’une grande gentillesse, disponible, attentionné et vraiment chaleureux. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable et nous garderons un très beau souvenir de cette location… et surtout de notre rencontre avec Christophe. "Wir waren als Familie eine Woche in dem Haus Ernestu.Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Insbesondere dieser unglaubliche Blick und die Weite hat uns nicht mehr losgelassen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und bei der Hitze konnten wir es auch mit der Klimaanlage sehr gut aushalten. Vom Haus aus gibt es ein paar Wanderwege. Wir waren einmal beim Kloster in der Nähe.Um den unglaublichen Blick zu genießen benötigt man rund 15min aus dem Tal. Danke Mathieu für diesen schönen Aufenthalt."

"The property was excellent, fantastic facilities and in a good location.The property was very difficult to find with no sign of the number, the lady meeting us had to drive out to find us so that we could follow her to the property.The air conditioning in 3 bedrooms and the main living quarters was out of action for 2 days making it very uncomfortable.We ran out of gas for the BBQ but this was replaced the following day.The rear lawn sprinklers were on all the time but the following day they were repaired.There was a leaking pipe in the boiler room/utility which made the floor very slippery and dangerous, this took 9 days before it was fixed.The middle basement bedroom door did not close properly.The shower door was off its runners in the bathroom for this bedroom.The table tennis net was broken and we carried out a temporary repair so that we could use it.Only one of the 3 pool table cues had a tip.We had to clean the coffee machine and dishwasher on our arrival.We were disappointed that there were no essential items in the welcome pack, though the wine was very welcome.Regardless of the above items we enjoyed our stay at the property."

"Dit huis is werkelijk een droom! Het zwembad is fantastisch en het huis is erg groot. Het is veel groter dan het lijkt in de advertentie. Je kunt genieten van het uitzicht op de bergen aan de ene kant en de zee aan de andere kant. De slaapkamers zijn groot en hebben beide een eigen badkamer. Alles is erg schoon en het huis is mooi ingericht. We misten alleen een airco, maar een plons in het zwembad was ook erg verkoelend. Wij raden dit huis zeer aan!"

"Die Wohnanlage liegt zentral, der nahe Bäcker macht leckeres Baguette und der Gemeinschaftspool ist ein Plus. Die Wohnung selbst ist gut aufgeteilt, freundlich, hell und sauber. Die Betten waren mit das Beste, was ich in Urlauben erlebt habe, zumal alle Zimmer klimatisiert sind (angenehm bei schwülen 33 Grad). Auch der Blick vom (nicht besonders gepflegten) Balkon ist toll. Die Kommunikation vor Ort war schwierig. Wir sprechen so gut wie kein Französisch, unsere Verwalterin konnte kein Englisch oder Deutsch. Für ein "luxuriöses Appartement" zu dem Preis erwarte ich stabilere elektrische Geräte (Spülmaschine löst Tabs oft nicht auf, die Besteckschublade ist wackelig), mehr Stühle und mehr Geschirr. Wir mussten die Spülmaschine täglich laufen lassen, weil es beispielsweise nur sieben Frühstücksteller gibt. Zudem empfehle ich einen zweiten Schlüssel und einen weiteren Sonnenschirm. Denn fünf Sitzplätze gibt es nur draußen - in der prallen Morgensonne kein Spaß... Unterm Strich eine gute Wohnung in grandioser Lage, die zumindest in der Hochsaison etwas überteuert ist."
