  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Remote comfortable hotel.

Great food. Reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. We were in Rm 14 lovely bathroom and boutique still bedroom. Stayed during Covid but felt safe. Great hikes and views in the area. Small swimming pool and sun deck. Stunning views of gorge with canoeing as an option.

La restauration est d'un bon rapport qualite/prix et le site est remarquable. Serveur tres agréable. Par contre déçus par la chambre standart ( tres petite et donnant sur un mur) nous avons demandé une categorie supérieure. La jeune femme nous a répondu "qu'elle n'allait pas nous montrer toutes les chambres!" , peu agréable ! Nous avons pris la chambre la plus chère : un peu petite mais avec une terrasse ; couvre lit sale et une salle de douche / toiilettes minuscule. Les photos sur le site ne correspondent pas à la vue depuis l'hôtel.

Great location, basic amenities good

This is the only hotel in the small village across a narrow bridge, and they appear to own most of the village. We were not even in the annexe but in an unlabelled side building containing four extra rooms, which was a little puzzling. Parking freely available in the village square. Breakfast was included and was reasonable. A comfortable bed and good shower. Checkout was very slow.

incident fâcheux

alarme se déclenche vers 22h. Impossible de joindre quiconque. Il a fallu attendre 7h du matin pour que quelqu'un intervienne et coupe enfin ce bruit. Aucune excuse de la direction. Cela a gâché notre dernière nuit, et par voie de conséquence notre opinion générale. Un problème technique peut toujours arriver mais alors il est résolu rapidement, et l'on s'excuse !!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt. Gutes Essen im Restaurant der Auberge. Uns hat nicht gefallen, dass der Check-in erst ab 17:00 Uhr war und schon um 19:00 Uhr endete. Das zur Auberge gehörige Restaurant, in dem der Check-in war, ist den ganzen Nachmittag geöffnet. In der Reisebestätigung waren die Kosten für das Frühstück nicht enthalten.

Tromperie! Je n'y retournerai jamais.

La chambre sentait le moisi. Pas de vrai porte fermant la slle d'eau WC de la chambre. Dessus de lit taché. Moisissure dans la salle d'eau. Pas d'insonorisation...on dort avec les voisins. Rapport qualité prix nul. Il y a bien mieux pour moins cher.

A grat hotel in an amazing gorge

Amazing location in the gorge next to the river. We walked up to the next village and hired a canoe (7.5km) and canoed back. Great for a stop over, to a couple of days on the river. Area amazing
