"Check-in was confusing, as there was no one at reception on arrival. When I called the provided number, I was instructed to open a locked room that was already occupied by another guest, which was quite concerning. There were also no clear instructions provided for the check-out process. Since my stay, I have been receiving emails stating that payment has not been made. This is incorrect, as I paid in full at the time of booking and have receipts to confirm this."

"My partner and I made an emergency reservation fairly late on the same day we were meant to arrive in town. We encountered some extenuating circumstances during our vacation, which meant we needed a safe place to sleep for a couple of nights. Despite this short notice, our stay was fantastic! We did a contactless check-in after hours, arriving sometime after 7pm. This was a godsend after the long, and frankly terrible, day we’d had. In the morning, the staff were very welcoming, accommodating, and I felt at ease immediately. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and I also loved that our suite had a private bathroom. The included breakfast was quite good as well- and I’m a fairly picky eater. Overall, it was money well spent and I would love to go back someday. Additionally, the town of Cygnet is quite charming itself. There are a few options nearby for food, fun, shopping, etc., but I was particularly fond of a cafe/bakery that makes an absolutely divine sourdough baguette. I dream of that bread even now"

"A few broken cupboards in the kitchen. Bathroom light was flashing. Bedside lamp in the main bedroom was flashing. Cushions need and floor mat in the family room need cleaning. Coffee was great heaters worked well. Oven was hard to use. "

"Amazing location ill give it that. Deck onto the river is fantastic. House is rustic but with plenty of rooms. A little bit too pricey given its not exactly luxury but has two bathrooms with good water pressure and most of the beds are comfy. Down side was Not enough wood for wood heater or outside fire and it was green wood, enough for maybe one night so it didnt burn hot enough to warm even the lounge room. Wifi very good considering the remote location"
