"The check in process was simple and easy. The house was spacious enough for my large family. There was a dock for the boat and the swimming area was great. The kids had a blast swimming and playing on the water mat. Early mornings and evenings were peaceful as you watched some wildlife. A great time was had by everyone."

"Due to junior golf travel, we stay at several VRBO locations per year. This was one of the nicest properties we've stayed at. Before we even left our house to travel there, the owners were in contact with us asking if we needed anything and offered advice on where to eat. The check in process was simple. The property was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, Beds were comfortable, and the A/C worked awesome. It was over 100 degrees when we were there, but the unit was so comfortable. The owners just added a new grill to the patio which heats up quickly and cooked our lamb, filet mignon, and chicken to perfection. The owners were kind enough to allow us to check out late so we could come back and shower after my son's final round of the golf tournament. It completed a great stay and made our 6 hour ride home more comfortable. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Where do I begin?...This spot is where my daughter & her fiancé wanted to marry. The Rappahannock carries special meaning for them...it's where they began their love story, and where they were engaged. Pop Castle is a warm, beautiful place for an event...only surpassed by the warmth and kindness of it's owners. The home is historic, well-maintained, and so comfortable! No detailsforgotten. Amazing kitchen! Bathrooms immaculate and the most comfy beds! This is truly a place for relaxation and sharing joy with friends & family! It has every amenity for a large gathering...beautiful views and grounds, places to spread out and come together! As Mother of the Bride, I was not as relaxed as I would have liked! But...all the more reason to return with the folks we treasure for another "Rivah" Respite! "Enjoyed our getaway at this bayfront property in a very quiet and private neighborhood. White sandy beach in a protected bay. Water was calm and you could safely walk out quite far. Very nice sunroom for morning sunrises. "

"Had a really relaxing week..we fished from the dock (didn't catch much but was relaxing lol). The pool was great and spent most of our days there. We had a really bad storm one evening and lost power for 12 hours. We were lucky we had flashlights and a latern in the car..may i suggest you provide one."
