Everything was great just being on the other side of the island is an inconvenience as boats from hotel only run this certain time after they stop you have to figure out your own way back to the hotel

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. From the first moment out the door at the airport until being dropped back off at the end of the stay, Tarpon Sands exceeded any possible expectation we had before arrival. The island is gorgeous, the staff attentive, kind, dedicated and efficient. The owner and owner family very gracious, the food magnificent.

The accommodations were awesone and staff outstanding. This was our third time staying at St George. The food was not as good as in previous years and price to high for quality.

Great location, newer rooms and great restaurant.
