"This place said there was onsite parking and there wasn’t. When I reached out to the host they were very responsive and apologetic that there wasn’t parking and referred me to a parking lot that was 10,50 Euros a night. The wifi also didn’t work and the host was responsive to get me to do some troubleshooting but it didn’t work and did not get resolved for my 3 day stay. Great place and location."

"I paid for the whole place yet when I arrived, Maria argued with me that I had not, for an hour. Her argument was that I had less people than 10 so I didnt need all bedrooms. That was not an option on VRBO website. Finally she accepted that our cleaning fee was paid and opened up the annexe. It was a needless hour wasted and left us all feeling a little shaken. "Room was very clean, beds were very comfortable. Large soft towels, nice tub for bathing. Fantastic location. Walking distance to most sights, including the funicular and the ferry to cross the river or to the Dom Luis I bridge to walk across. Staff were great at the front desk and in the bar - especially Luis and Ricardo. Didn’t have breakfast, chose to grab food at Alice down the hill but ate at the bar a couple times and the food was better than your average bar food, especially the vegetable soupand the breaded green beans. ."
