Golf Son Parc

First stayed at this hotel in 2015 wh n I was a Resident Host for Saga Holidays. Since then I have stayed several times and have made many friends in local area. Thus stay was a trip down memory lane before the hotel changes management company. The property is absolutely beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. We loved the pool area and that it was so quiet! The breakfast had lots to offer however, the Expedia advert needs updating as it says there is a cafe / deli on site. This may have been available a while ago but isn’t now and instead they have an honesty bar and you need to order a picnic lunch a day in advance. I think the property would benefit from having a cafe or more options for lunch as there is nowhere to go in walking distance. We did love seeing the chickens and horses who live on the farm.

Room: clean, comfortable and nice patio space Staff: excellent, very helpful and lovely, if there was a problem they sorted it. Breakfast: great selection for breakfast, was a yummy experience in the morning, always looked forward to it. (Note this is a very relaxing and slower pace, there is no rush at this breakfast) Location: it is in the middle of no where with not much around, we had a hire car and good job as you need to drive everywhere. It is close to the local town which is only 12 minutes taxi for €15, on an interesting road. Amenities: there isn’t much other than a lovely pool area and lots of sun beds available, there is a very small outdoor fitness area but it needs some attention. The sunset bar is nice but it’s is a walk and wear flat shoes. Overall it’s a lovely country retreat which is very peaceful and relaxing.
