Plenty of parking. Enjoy the second floor deck with its expansive views of the river and property. Watch the local wildlife including deer, geese, egrets, many types of ducks, eagle and osprey. The osprey nest is just a short distance away. The property is alive with large pine trees, majestic oaks, dogwood and acres of grassy areas. The river is abundant with native trout, steelhead and salmon. How about a trout breakfast. Sit in an Adirondack chair and enjoy the floating dock, or just sit on the private beach. Wood is available for a beach fire . Take a dip or simply lounge around the pool. Have your morning coffee / tea on the deck or BBQ your evening meal. The 750 square feet suite features a bedroom with a 4 corner poster bed, living room with kitchenette, microwave, large screen TV, listen to music or ask questions on Amazon Echo, internet access, antique roll top desk, premium sofa bed, dining area, and bathroom with shower and bathtub. The large grassy area that borders the river is great for picnics, throwing a football and other activities of your choice. The property is rural in the Rouge Valley between Ashland and Grants Pass, but only a little over a mile from Highway 5\. Ashland and its renowned theater is about 30 minutes away. The grounds and pool area are gorgeous. My dog loved roaming the vast yard and I enjoyed relaxing by the beautiful pool. The apartment is clean and comfortable but on the older side. The pictures are accurate. The kitchen area is very small and it was a bit tough to prepare meals. It has a few basic appliances and kitchen essentials. The neighborhood was easy to find and nice. We enjoyed walking along the river. Gold Hill is very small but has a market and a few restaurants. Medford is close, as is Grant's Pass. The Rogue River is the main draw for this area. It was just like the pictures, clean, great pool for our son, and the river was stunning. Great location to food and just over a hour drive to the beautiful Crater Lake.
