Unfortunately for a property of it's type and cost we were disappointed. We were presented with a main toilet that didn't work properly and missing a lock on the door, a blocked bathtub drain and insufficient basic items in the kitchen and living areas such as a water jug and cushions, amongst others. When added to the internet service being down for 3.5 days and told to deal directly with the provider, where we were basically ignored, and a ground level that was very smelly for our entire 10 day stay it made for a disappointing accommodation where we'd be reluctant to return to. Thankfully, the Qld weather and great view from the 37th floor meant we enjoyed our holiday nonetheless.

Location was amazing, definitely will stay here again. We had to pick up keys from another place which was odd and inconvenient as there was no reception. Apart from that, place was amazing and would definitely recommend 👌.

excellent views, property dated, chipped tiles, stained carpets, bedroom tv not working, comfy suite but stitching open in 2 places, odd drinking glasses, and tin opener that did not work, old stains around bottom of shower glass, but nice strong pressure on shower itself, lifts worked well, disappointed on arrival, had to go to agency for keys and as the office was closed , had to phone for the password for a lock box and was not allowed password until I paid 300 dollars security this could have been done on booking the apartment and not left until we arrived and no reception on site, very poor service.

Great location
I love the convenience of the location of Chevron apartments and that it is a secure property with easy access. It was so handy to shops, restaurants and the beach. A quick tram ride to the casino was enjoyable as well.absolutely loved the views as well.

The room we had was old and dated. The location was perfect we were on the 34th floor the view was amazing, but with the balcony at that hight I was scared that my kids would fall over the edge. The car park instructors were not sent to us until I called the property, this made the check in process awful after a long day of travel with a baby that just wanted to get out the car. Would I stay here again… yes the location was amazing… no if you have small children. Although there was some minor childproofing on the doors.

We had stayed here years ago and since then it has gone down hill. One of the sliding doors was broken on arrival. The vent for aircon was filthy and the dryer filter was so full it was over flowing . The toilets stank like they had not been cleaned. Spider webs in the corners of the bedroom

I loved that there are four lifts so entry and exiting was not an issue. The pool areas were vast and amazing and clean. Having a shopping centre below is very convenient.

Underwhelming
While we loved the location and the complex facilities, we were dissapointed in several other aspects of our stay. There were very loud and extremely distruptive renovations to the building including a jackhammer. We were never advised these works were going to be undertaken during our stay. Overall the apartment was a bit run down and underwhelming with several things either not working or failed during use. Would not stay here again or recommend.

Excellent location, walking distance to everything, supermarket and pharmacy at the bottom of complex. Large apartment and great pools. Could definitely benefit from some maintenance and a deep clean. But would stay again just for location.

The room was clean and the view is amazing. Convenient walking distance to shops, eateries, public transports (tram) and sights. All together, a very pleasant experience.

Washing machine was so noisy and jumping, when i levelled it the amount of dirt underneath was outrageous, dirty around all edges, bed side table lamps full of dust, i think whoever did the cleaning vaccumed only the visible areas and cleaned the bathrooms, kettle and toaster are in really bad shape and usually the kitchen is missing so many things and odd utensils, i have rented there before and it wasn't like that

The room needed beach towels available, as we couldn’t hire any to use at the pool. Also staples such as tomato sauce, salt, pepper, vegemite and peanut butter would be good for people travelling from interstate

Nice apartments close to everything. Bathroom had mould which should be cleaned its a health hazard. Overpriced on Hotels .com and they refuse to price match on agoda sick of sending loads of e-mails both on the day I booked and up intil yesterday.

Unfortunately our experience in your apartments has been extremely unsatisfactory there have been multiple issues in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. - Ensuite bathroom sink had blood over the outside of it which must have been from the previous occupants. - Non of the bathroom fans work as they are blocked with so much mould and dust it looks disgusting and is so in hygienic. - We have had cockroaches in the kithchen, bathrooms and even in our BEDS! - we went to use the hair dryer and it sparked in our hands and tripped the whole apartment which is EXTREMELY dangerous! We are absolutely horrified with the state of this apartment we were given we have to clean it better ourselves then when it was given to us which is a real shame as we were really looking forward to staying with you guys. We paid a lot of money for this 5 days stay and I would like my money back as this apartment was appalling and sorry but we are not paying money for something like this is was horrific! I have taken photos of all the issues listed above and I am happy to send them all through if you need proof of what has been going on.

Found used Condom in a bedside drawer along with other cleanliness issues. My young son touched it not knowing what it was. Management failed to come back to us in a timely fashion and we are still awaiting a response today.

The location was great and the views beautiful and convenient for what we needed. The following things were disappointing. 1. The floorboards had air pockets throughout the whole area really making the floating floorboards 'float'. Some areas were sticky when walking on them. 2. When using the cooktop, we tried to pull out the range hood. Very sticky to pull out. Once having a closer look, the sliding track and the hood was so full of fat and grease. Tried wiping up with paper towels but would need to be cleaned properly with hot water and degreaser. Not only was it difficult to pull out but a little off putting while trying to prepare food. Otherwise, fixing those issues would certainly make the stay more comfortable.

GOLD COAST HOLIDAY SERVICE SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
GOLD COAST HOLIDAY SERVICES WHO HOTELS.COM booked our hotel in with instead of MANTRA should honestly remove this company from your services. Our room power was disconnected and we called GOLD COSST HOLIDAY SERVICES were absolutely rude to my wife and I we called the company to advise them of what’s happened and no help was given to my family. In regards to why the power was disconnected the customer service contact and manager were very rude and also laughing at my wife and I explaining that we have no power and my kids were also very scared sitting in the dark for 5 hours before we got a call back from anyone. The manager from GOLD COAST HOLIDAY SERVICES disconnected the call and told us that they couldn’t help us and we’re laughing at the situation we were in. The male customer service rep was refusing to hear my concern and laughed at me while I was on the phone and then disconnected the call. My kids were crying due to being in the dark and he laughed and said that we can’t help. I then advised him to please help me and once again he disconnected the call this company should be absolutely ashamed of there actions I want this company GOLD COAST HOLIDAY SERVICE to be accountable for there actions and there unprofessionalism needs to be addressed. MANTRA STAFF AT CHEVRON were awesome Elizabeth and the team went over and beyond to accommodate my family and I. GOLD COAST HOLIDAY SERVICE should honestly be ashamed of how they made my family and I feel ESPECIALLY MY CHILDREN.

It is disappointing to hear about your experience, as when the power went out, security was sent up to your apartment to rectify this issue immediately, it was certainly not 5 hours later. I find it extremely hard to believe that a man was laughing at you, as it was me, a lady who spoke to you on the phone for no longer than 15 seconds, to inform you that we were sending somebody up, and to apologise for the inconvenience.

Cleanliness a disappointment
We are a disability provider and requested 3 rooms near each other. . . We were given 2 rooms in 1 tower 8 floors apart and 1 room in a totally different tower. This made it very difficult for workers to access clients so if this had of been communicated to us prior to arrival we could have made alternative arrangements. On checking in to the room the floors were filthy in all 3 apartments . . .our feet were black within minutes of taking our shoes off. . . Their were beads on the floor and crumbs, cockroaches, chairs filthy from previous guests, vinyl and felt from lounges peeling off. . . Just extremely poor housekeeping all round. We pushed 2 beds together for 1 of our clients and it looked like it had not been cleaned under there for a long time and we could go on and on but I’m sure you get the picture. To say we were disappointed for the $6000+ we had paid for 3 rooms for 8 nights is an understatement. The handyman did his best by sending a cleaner up after my husband showed reception some photos of the room and my feet and we did eventually get toilet paper for every bathroom. On a positive note we did get ocean views for 2 out of 3 of our apartments. Sadly one of them missed out on our request which we weren’t notified about until we walked into our room. When using the parking system make sure when you approach the garage door you place your tag under the Red Cross on the roof above you and the garage roller door will lift automatically no problem.

The location of the apartment was great. Close to Cavill Avenue short walk to the beach. The 2 bedroom apartment was large with a large balcony on the 7th floor. Which is the same height as the trees so you don't get to see much except the trees and glimpses of the ocean. The apartment is a little worn with stains all over the carpet. But besides that its actually really great. Chevron though need to up the AC in the foyers of the hotel its ridiculously hot especially when your waiting 10 minutes for a lift.

The apartments are spacious. The amenities are excellent three pools loads of room to move. The prime location right in surfers with the tram line at the front of the complex great for going south or further north.

Good choice for family
Overall good value and good facilities and location. Supermarket underneath is very handy. No blankets on bed and no room service during 4 night stay. So have to buy own toilet paper etc. Also remember to bring or buy beach towels. Fantastic ocean views The picking up of keys at another location and then exit procedure is a bit of a nuisance but that’s why it is a bit cheaper. Good kitchen and fridge etc so great for family.
