There is an Aldi and Coles very close too. The apartment served us well. Beds were comfortable and overall it was very clean and had everything we needed to cook, clean, wash clothes, etc. The balcony was great too to dry towels, clothes etc. It was a bit hot at night with just a fan and due to construction noise at night we couldn't leave the windows open.
