The size of the house seemed to be over 1000 sq. feet which were perfect for a family of 6 or more. There was a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine, saving us a lot of money and hassle. The location was also exellent, Sandanbeki bus stop was right outside the guesthouse and from here you can get to most of the tourist attractions without changing bus. The house owner was living in the adjacent house and he was so nice that whenever we needed help he would be available for assisting us. The price was amazingly low and we wholeheartedly recommend the accomodation to those visiting Shirahama if an accomodation with hotspring and board is not a must." It made for a difficult and awkward descent and climb for me, as I have respiratory problems. While breakfast was generous, we found the price to be quite steep for a ryokan with no dinner included. The place is isolated, and we were told not to go out at night due to the presence of wild dogs.
