"When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. "The lady at the registration desk was pleasent and nicebut our room was across the street which was only acceptable by climbing several steep steps. We are both 80 yrs old with significant osteoarthritis and pulling the suitcases from the reception desk to the other side of the street and than lifting it to the top of the steep steps was not only extremely difficult but also very dangerous. No one offer the help or even ask if we need help. The dinner on the evening of our arrival was good but guide expensive. Breakfast was very good. On the day of our departure the lady at the reception desk order our taxi to the train station ,but again did not ask or offer any help with the suitcases."

"It’s literally in the center of the Old Town. Couldn’t have a better location. The room with balcony on the last floor is charming. I wish we stayed longer than just one night. And it’s worth climbing a few steps to the third floor. If you complain about that it’s time to start a cardio exercise routine."

"This is a perfect little budget hotel for short-stays in Torun. It is 200m from a bus/tram stop that goes the 5 or 10 minutes to the main train station across the river. It is also just inside the town wall, where everything is close together and perfectly walkable. The girl who was manning the desk (and tidying up and generally 100% available) was very sweet and helpful. "
