The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize.

We stayed for our anniversary and absolutely loved it here. The staff were so kind, welcoming and accommodating. Meeting the other guests and getting to know them was so awesome and we felt like family, it was so sad to leave. The food was excellent. We could have stayed another week. We enjoyed snorkeling, diving and paddle boarding and kayaking. We will definitely be back!

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. This place is more than a place to sleep, they truly elevate your experience. From communication before we arrived through check in and the whole stay to check out. We arrived on our shuttle that was booked through the resort to a table seaside to enjoy our choice of a fresh natural juice or their signature rum punch. Guest services then set us up with our rental for a golf cart and checked us into our room by taking our bags up and walking us through the place. full five star service. The room was spacious. We were right on the water two bedrooms two bath lots of space to spread out and really enjoy ourselves. Loved the breakfast every morning. You had a nice options of huevos rancheros eggs, bacon, French toast, pancakes, even oatmeal with lots of fresh fruit. Everything was super smooth from check-in to check out and the place was nice and quiet so if you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax and unwind every night this is it. I will note that it is a bit of a drive from town so you will have to take that into account but we loved it very peaceful and great restaurant options are with in short drive.
