The property features inviting outdoor seating with sound views, along with an outdoor dining area perfect for enjoying fresh coastal meals as the sun sets. A private dock extends into the sound, complete with a boat lift that can accommodate boats up to 22 feet, making this an excellent choice for boaters, fishers, and water enthusiasts. Guests often enjoy the unique experience of watching marine life, with the potential to spot dolphins gliding through the sound right from the property. Inside, the home offers generous living spaces with plenty of counter space in the kitchen, ideal for meal prep and group gatherings. The primary bedroom is a true retreat, featuring a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom for added comfort and privacy. Additional bedrooms are well-appointed to accommodate guests with ease. BED CONFIGURATIONS: 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, and 1 Queen over Queen Bunk Bed WHAT IS PROVIDED: Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar. Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide. PET POLICY: Dogs are allowed with a $200 + tax non refundable pet fee per dog, with a 3 dog maximum. Airbnb guests: This fee is NOT included in your final price. Please notify Spectrum Properties once your booking has been confirmed to add this pet fee(s). VRBO guests: Guests can only add one dog to the reservation. The location made a quiet respite after days spent in Beaufort or out on Cape Lookout. The water views were spectacular, and one of our party fished every day off the dock. The pool table got a lot of use, as did the porch swings. We rented kayaks and were out on the sound every day! Highly recommended. And don't miss the Stained Glass Gallery on Harker's Island. We did a bit of gift shopping there. Our only quibble was that for a house that sleeps eight, we found only one wine glass! Hardly a deal-breaker, but our five adults had to make do with drinking wine out of tumblers . . . . There was space for everyone to both come together as well as find a quiet place to do things on their own. The views were wonderful and it is on a nice quiet street so we were able to truly read and enjoy ourselves. We were able to drop our kayaks in the back and paddle around as well as enjoy some great fishing off the dock. Caught several sharks and some other smaller fish. The leasing agent was very quick to respond to questions and the linen service was a nice feature. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and chose this home due to the dock as we have a boat. As it turns out we were able to use the hydrolic lift which was even better. The home, the view and the dock were amazing. The sunsets were picturesque and the ease of getting to Beaufort/Moorehead for evening dinners was great. Already planning another trip there. The house was well appointed and very comfortable for families with a dart board and a pool table. If you plan on boating please make sure you use navigational charts and know your tides as it does get shallow. Other than that, you will not regret staying here at all!!! ##### patrick c. Nice place and good fishing off the dock. We were able to see dolphins, stingrays, crabs, jellyfish, etc. We were intown to visit our youngest son, a Marine, and this house was great. Each day we were able to play pool, darts and fish. We caught several types of fish including a few baby sharks. My wife loved the porches. ##### Harold N. We really enjoyed our stay for our party of 7\. Fishing trip with the boys!! There was plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed just hanging out on the back deck staring out at the water. Very close to Morehead City were we chartered a boat for a day. We fished off the dock at the house and caught a couple baby sharks. Everything was clean would definitely stay here again!! My only gripe was there was no outside trash cans. I called the property manager and they said that they are working to correct that though. ##### Jordan C.
