Great time on the Chesapeake Bay. The weather was great for getting outside, not too hot in September. Had a couple of nice sits by the water. Very peaceful and quiet.

Our stay was amazing. Anne showed us the property when we first arrived and made us feel welcomed. This location is very peaceful and very private. It’s close to local restaurants and grocery stores. Would highly recommend anyone to book this vacation rental.

A really nice spot to relax and explore the area!

A beautiful waterfront setting, a very clean and bright VRBO unit, and really nice hosts! There are lots of interesting places all around the Gloucester / Yorktown area to visit, and the people are all very friendly! Five stars all the way!

Anne and Davis treat you as family. We spent one month at their wonderful property. Great sun risers from the deck overlooking the water. Every day woke up relaxed and ready to enjoy our day. We highly recommend this property for others to enjoy.

Very nice property on the Chesapeake Bay. Detached one bedroom upstairs over owners garage. Owners house on property also. Owners were very helpful with lots of good information on things to do in the area. Water view with many beautiful trees. Very secluded on private lane.

Great place to stay and the owners were lovely! Our kids are 6 and 9 so it was fine to sleep 4. If they were older we would need more space. Loved using the canoe and kayaks! The dock was great to swim from when the tide was high. I’d recommend this place to a couple seeking a quiet spot!

Wonderful!!

My husband and I stayed in this charming apartment for 4 nights and couldn’t have been more pleased! The hosts were gracious and helpful. We told them that we were planning to visit Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown and Anne was kind enough to let me know the places to go see if it was too hot or raining. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Beautiful property. We would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I have stayed at this property multiple times over the last few years when in the area to visit family, and every time has been fantastic. The cottage is clean, very comfortable and well-furnished, and all our needs are met. The property is very quiet, beautiful, and safe. Anne and Davis are great at communicating and checking in with us during our stay. Our experiences across all our stays at this property over the years have been very consistent and positive. We will continue staying here every time we are in the area, and are so happy we found this place. I highly recommend this property.

This is the cleanest rental that I have ever been in. There are plenty of linens and towels, books, games, amazing sunrises and sunsets, and easy access to restaurants. We were in the area for the Historic Triangle. Location is great, easy to get in, and the hostess is informative and caring. The rental is spacious and on a beautiful property. We are already planning another trip for next year.

Visit for a high school graduation

The property was perfect! Easy to get to and not too far off the beaten path but far enough for solitude. The amenities were just what we needed. I was with my parents who are in their 80's and even though there are steps it was not too difficult for them to get up the stairs. Anne was a gracious hostess who greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had what we need. I highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to the Gloucester area.
