(1,000 reviews) I had a nice stay at Relax V hotel. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional. The hotel was very clean, and it was quiet. They also had complimentary coffee each morning. The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s about a 10 minute walk from Taipei Main Station which makes it easy when you are arriving from the airport, and gives you easy, quick access to the Taipei Metro.The neighborhood around the hotel is nice with a lot of shops and eateries. I strongly recommend this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially housekeeping, who checked if I needed anything when I ran into them in the hallway a few times, even though I didn’t require a full room cleaning. Two main concerns were the shower, which had a slight mildew smell, and the soundproofing. During my 11-day stay, there were two separate nights when I could hear other guests laughing and talking loudly or having mini parties in their rooms late past midnight. (1,001 reviews) Location of the hotel is awesome, staff were very good and helpful only reason it doesn't get a 100% review is that we returned home from a day out adventuring and housekeeping had forgotten to close our room door, it was pinned back fully open meaning people walking by could see right in and enter but luckily nothing was missing. I went down and informed reception and they were very apologetic but understandably I was concerned by this so I placed the do not disturb up for the next day and just got towels from housekeeping so all ok but if not for this it was 100% review. Mistakes happen so just grateful no issues and no missing items. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
