Firstly, the drive to the cabin area was beautiful with the surrounding Myrtle trees and foliage. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The cabin was very clean inside and had all the needed items. The bedding was soft and comfortable and the mattresses felt pretty new. The walk-in showers were fantastic with good water pressure and plenty of room. There is much to do both in the area or the 40 minute trip to Hot Springs. We were expecting to have to buy groceries in Hot Springs Walmart but there is no need at all. We visited the local Wrights grocery store and it’s a full-line grocery store with some of the nicest people we’ve met on vacation. Even our teenage girls commented on how nice they were. There is plenty of space for the family to hang out and we had several game-nights. The loft for the teens was a hit! The deck is amazing for morning coffee and evening wind-down. We didn’t use the fire-pit because our visit was during the heat warnings but the setting is perfect with a recently added bench. Also there is a shared sitting area and stairway down to the river. That area is huge and could be great to gather if a couple families were staying at other cabins. We were close enough to other cabins to not feel secluded but far enough away that we really didn’t realize they were there. We had a great view of the river and it was nice watching the kayakers and our sun-bathing turtles. River Ridge is in our Top 5 cabin list. ##### Michelle M.
