8.2/10 Very good! (1,105 reviews)
I rated many areas of this hotel as excellent but the largest negative is the location. Didn’t feel too safe as the area of Albany area is somewhat rundown and homeless individuals that seemed as though they were on substance or schizophrenic.

Everything was fine aside from the internet connection, which I needed for work. While the internet did work, it was extremely slow and made it impossible to complete my work. I spent an hour trying to upload photos to a gallery and only made it through 23 photos.. I went home and was able to upload 50 photos in literally 30 seconds.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, the shower was great, the breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. There was not free Wi-Fi unless you’re a rewards member which was a bit annoying and the TV didn’t have access to streaming platforms which is a nice perk. We would definitely stay here again.

7/10 Good! (695 reviews)
"I don't leave negative reviews, typically. However, this hotel was genuinely awful. The room reeked so bad we had to go to the local Walmart just to get Febreze to just make it bearable; it must have been a smoking room for decades. The room was not even properly cleaned. There was a used towel hanging ..."
