The most peaceful place on Earth!
This property has to be one of my favorites I’ve ever stayed in on any vacation. The cabin was perfectly stocked with supplies and was so cozy. The sound of Otter Creek rushing nearby was so relaxing and rejuvenating. 10/10 we will be back!

This was by far one of the most scenic and peaceful vacation spots that me and my partner have stayed at. The owner was super friendly, provided a lot of information regarding activities in the area and was very accommodating. 5/5 stars definitely look forward to visiting again!!

New Year’s Weekend
The perfect spot to wind-down after a busy year/holiday season. Only wish we could have stayed another day or two. Our pups were in heaven between the river and the pellet stove. Definitely would love to visit again!

Thanksgiving Get-A-Way
We had an amazing stay for the long holiday weekend! The property and cabin are so beautiful, clean and everything you need is provided. My parents stayed at the cabin next door with their pup and were beyond impressed. We’ve been staying at Ralph’s cabins for almost 8 years and there is a reason why we keep coming back! Very good cabin
This cabin is small, just for two. It was very clean. It is beautifully constructed with good furniture and appliances. It was warm and comfortable. It fronts Otter Creek a rocky swift flowing waterway. The area is sparsely populated and economically depressed. All conifer forested with unlimited hiking trails. We hiked trails to local waterfalls and drove about 40 miles to Bald Mountain to hike to the fire tower. The property owner provided extensive well written nearby hiking trail directions. Stores and a few restaurants close by in Lowville. Good roads and easy to drive to from Utica.

Very nice little cabin with everything you would need.
Wonderful hikes and even a trek with llamas. You couldn’t get much more relaxing with the babbling otter creek on the property. Great campfires at night and cool mornings with coffee on the back Adirondack chairs.

very nice setting on a owl creek. I loved hearing the stream all day and evening. the cabin is just as described and was very comfortable for me. Great hiking nearby and some fun local spots (Pine Tree Inn!). Host was timely and great. I will come back for sure!

Relaxing summer week
My husband and I stayed in this one bedroom cabin on Otter Creek and would recommend it to others. We had everything promised and it was a lovely spot. The location was quiet and peaceful yet close enough to groceries and restaurants if desired. The local hiking spots described by the owner were great. We also were in driving distance to Old Forge, mountain climbing and Alexandria Bay to see Boldt Castle.

Best Getaway Ever
This location is just superb if your looking to get away from it all. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the running creek right next to it makes it even more relaxing! We had everything we needed and couldn't ask for more. My husband and I didn't want to leave. Ralph is a great host and had everything ready and left us what we needed for sure. He responds quickly and is a great host! Will definitely be back!

Creekside perfection
Clean, remote (not terribly), everything you need to kick back and enjoy cabin life. Lots of loving detail the owner put into the build. Can only imagine how amazing the summer must be playing in the creek. Would stay again for sure!

The cabin is very well kept and comfortable. The back looking out to Otter Creek makes for a wonderful scenic view. We enjoyed a few short hikes in the area, cooking in the kitchen, and unplugging for a few days. Great experience and highly recommend!

Great weekend getaway
We had a great experience at this cabin. We arrive late on Friday and walked into a warm cabin that was very well maintained. The pellet stove was already loaded and ready to use. The next day we spent the day outside by the river and had a small fire. The location was away from everyone else and the river blocked any other sounds and on top of that it was scenic, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend New Years. Now I’ll have to plan a trip for the summer.

Had a wonderful time with my pup! Went hiking, had a fire, and napped. Meant to work on writing projects but relaxed instead. Great location for solo female travelers, I felt very safe here. You cannot replicate the view of the creek, especially with snow! Highly recommend. Check out Tug Hill Vineyards, the wine is delicious, and the whiskey wings from Tony Harper’s was incredible!

Beautiful little creek-side cabin.
This property is new and pristine. The location next to Otter Creek is extraordinary. You can hear the sounds of the creek at all hours of the day and there are tons of places for hiking at all levels. We also found it to be a great place for us to bring our pets as a change of pace. Although it feels very secluded, there is plenty of shopping less than 15 minutes away. We will definitely come back!!

This past weekend, my wife, our puppy and I took the 3-1/2 hour drive from the Buffalo, NY area to the small town of Greig to stay in a cabin that we chose based solely upon online pictures and descriptions. I must say, we were certainly not disappointed. Upon pulling up the secluded driveway we were met with the sight of this beautiful little cabin, that you could tell was crafted with care. (note: I am a contractor and carpenter by trade, and a picky one at that) However, as nice as the cabin was at first glance, the view and proximity of Otter Creek at the rear of the property was the show-stopper, I'm pretty sure I cracked a beer and started a fire (in the beautifully laid out firepit area only feet from the creek) within ten minutes upon arrival and relaxation set in, but I digress... Inside the cabin was also a delight. Even though it is only roughly about 600-700 sq. ft. in size, there was nothing lacking. The kitchen was thoughtfully organized and stocked with just about everything you could need to prepare just about any type of meal (I also was a caterer in a past life). There was also a nice gas grill on premise. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well organized. Honestly, this felt more like borrowing a cabin from a friend than a place that is rented out to strangers. Cleanliness was superb, better than some expensive hotels we stayed at in the past. The owners also provide a wealth of information about hiking and sightseeing in the area. We went to two of the suggested hiking trails that were nearby, and they were gorgeous. And... because unplugging for a weekend is typically impossible for most people (ourselves included), WiFi and Apple TV are also available, and work well. I could keep going, but you get the picture. I cannot recommend this place enough. The only thing I'd change for our next visit will be adding a few more nights.

Magic on Otter Creek
The cabin was spectacular. Hands down the best rental I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. So clean, stocked with quite literally anything you could possibly need if you forgot anything. Bedding was wonderfully soft, nothing is the cheap rental version you've likely had before. The setting on Otter Creek is simply magical. We stayed over the long weekend in October & fall foliage quite literally peaked while we were there. Our dog loved it too! Thank you for sharing this property with us all Ralph. PS. 12 minutes away is an amazing cafe; grocery store & quite literally the best Walmart EVER!
