We were just a family of 4, but the house would also be suitable for 2 famillies. Yes, it is basic and a bit old, but that's what makes it so real. It was also a step back in time with old photos on the walls, and even multiple tape and cd players! We didn't use these but it was fun to explain to the kids how we used to listen to music. Sitting on the deck with a morning coffee looking across the river with birds to make the only sounds was just bliss. For those into fishing this might be a good spot too.
