Nice little house for a one night stay with our family of four, though pricey for its lack of amenities. We arrived an hour and a half after check in to find the place still being cleaned, but the woman was nice, and explained that she got caught in traffic, which is not unreasonable for North Conway this time of year. We drove up the block to give her time to finish up, and saw some really run-down houses next to some newly developed ones. Old quasi-abandoned camps next to multimillion dollar new builds with mountain views. This house is definitely original to the block, but the owners have put some time and money into making it more presentable to the vrbo renter. Some of this is smoke and mirrors, but all in all, it's retained it's camp charm while getting some upgrades in comfort. Split units have replaced a wood stove, nice new cabinets and countertops in the kitchen, newly tiled bathroom. The floors are pretty wonky, and the loft bedroom is accessed through a questionable set of stairs, but for one night, it was cozy enough, and close enough to most of the action up there to make it worth while. It's very small, and wouldn't be a good option for multiple families or large parties. We didn't use the yard, which is also small and not very private, but there is a fire pit and a small deck. The house is just off a main road, right across the street from a nice farm to table restaurant, which is always busy.
