Excellent getaway
This treehouse was awesome. It was very clean, adequately stocked, and in an absolutely perfect setting. In the woods with a nice fireput area and all by the river. The ladder to access the 2nd bed could only be reached by someone about 6' tall (no one in our group was that tall. We used our own blow up bed.) We couldn't use the loft. The water was turned off so couldn't use the outdoor shower. I would definitley add a small table and a couple of chairs for a place to sit and eat. We loved it.

Wonderfully unique getaway
Stayed a long weekend in a treehouse style build cabin. The setting was great, with a long winding driveway through the trees that opens to a wide clearing and you finally get to see cabin. A tasteful yet rustic style building that would be plenty of space for an average family, or two couples. Amenities all worked as they should and covered our needs. Didn't hear a peep from anyone while we came and went from local establishments and offroading trails. We'll be back again some day!

Unique tree house in the woods
This place is really cool. There's a long driveway that leads to the house that's built on high stilts surrounded by trees. It's really private. Within a very short walk there's small river. There's also a nice firepit with chairs. When we booked this place we were hoping to cross country ski in the area but unfortunately, there was no snow but we still enjoyed the stay simply for it's uniqueness. We plan to come back, maybe during the summer where the small river seems like a nice place to paddle a kayak. We loved it.

Feel like a kid again while comfortably surrounded by nature!
This whimsical treehouse getaway exceeded my expectations, and was a perfect cozy little nest for my husband, myself and our two dogs to enjoy the fall Wisconsin colors. The unit was very secluded, spacious with abundant windows to enjoy the beauty of nature, and tastefully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. The wrap around deck was perfect for sipping my coffee in the morning and we enjoyed relaxing around the firepit after a full day of hiking on the nearby Ice Age Trail. I can't wait to go back when I need another nature bath!

Do it!
Our treehouse stay was so fun! The pictures don’t do it justice, even cooler in person. So close to hiking trails, restaurants and stores but still felt secluded and quiet. Such a great experience!

Furnace didn’t work!
I thought it had an outdoor shower! Thank goodness for the portable heater! My GPS from Wausau didn’t work looked for 1.5 hours went home! stayed the 2nd day! Such a small refrigerator! Bed was comfortable, not the recliner at all!

Amazing treehouse!
This property exceeded my expectations. Treehouse was clean, decorated nicely, and comfortable. The lot was secluded and beautiful. Great location. I just wish the bed was more comfortable (really lumpy on on one side). However, the treehouse was so awesome that I plan on returnining and just bringing an air mattress.

Only problem we had was locating the property on our way up. We didn’t get into town until 7:30 and it was getting dark. Apple Maps and google maps both lead us to the wrong location, ended up getting help from locals at the bar up the road. Also we lost service several times which made navigating a bit more difficult. Once we located it it was absolutely smooth sailing from there, loved the place so much and can’t wait to come back!

Private stay for couples
The treehouse is just as wonderful as the pictures show. It is secluded, allowing for complete privacy while fishing, enjoying a fire, and even showering outside (indoor shower is nice too). It was the perfect size for the two of us and our pup for a short stay. We will definitely be back!

So fun & unique!
My children thought this was such a fun stay! Perfect, cozy place to “glamp” to make it easy on the parents! Only thing I’d say people should know is that it’s only a small dorm fridge (I am an over packer and had a lot of cooler items we had to get more ice for). Other than that, our family would love to come back for another stay sometime!

Awesome Experience

Unique, Beautiful, and Fun!
My kids (ages 12 & 14) and I stayed in the treehouse while attending a family reunion. Within minutes of arriving, they were down at the river and had caught a trout. The treehouse was everything we had hoped it would be. It’s deep in the woods at the end of a long, narrow wooded driveway, so you really feel like you’re in the wilderness, but you’re still close enough to town that you can get whatever you need. The kids loved sleeping up in the loft and the bed on the main floor was very comfortable. They appreciated the TV and DVD player for winding down at night. I appreciated the adorable wrap around deck in the trees facing the river because I could enjoy my coffee on one of the chairs out there while watching my kids play and fish in the river. We all thought the outdoor shower was fun and a new experience for us. Since we were at the reunion through much of the day, we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit, but it’s nicely set up with chairs around it. The treehouse does sway just a bit when people walk around in it, but it never felt unsafe, just a reminder that you’re not on the ground. It was such a fun place to stay!

Beautiful, unique and relaxing!
Such an amazing experience! Kate and her husband were the best hosts! Fast communication and nothing seemed to be off limits. It really felt like our own cabin in the woods! It was nice to be so secluded with no houses in sight. We stayed for 3 nights and had a small wedding ceremony and honeymoon at this location. It was so much better than we ever imagined! The tree house is so unique and beautiful. I loved the hot outdoor shower and indoor one too! It always left you feeling refreshed after a long day and night by the camp fire. We enjoyed the place so much that we were able to squeeze in an extra day so our toddlers could enjoy it too! They loved it! There is plenty of room. The river is within eye sight and made for a great view and trout fishing too. My husband even caught a few! The canopy of trees over the tree house is truly beautiful. The inside is clean, cozy and very well put together with all the household amenities needed. We grilled a lot as well. We will definitely be back!

Mitch and I loved staying here. It was so secluded and felt like we were alone in the world, which is what we were hoping for. It swayed in the wind and was like being lulled to sleep in a tree, but it's very sturdily built and secure. So many nice spaces for a hammock around the fire. Everything was clean, and they even have an outdoor shower! We used some floaties to tie ourselves to a tree in the stream and floated there for a while. Super cool. Here are a few items of convenience that might help future customers: - a small wastebasket in the bathroom - dish drying rack - change the kitchen lights from cool to warm We want to come back!

It’s a treehouse in the woods. Not much more to say! The property is stunning, it feels like it’s just you and the north woods. We loved staying here on a long weekend in the summer exploring the area. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing getaway in the trees
This tree house is definitely one of a kind! Love how high up and secluded it is! Very clean and organized. Loved the outdoor shower and L shaped deck overlooking the woods. If I has suggestions they wld be minor - could use some extra lighting options along with storage for kitchen and clothes. I would not suggest bringing little kids as the deck fence is pretty rustic. Super cool but not safe for little ones. Loved we were able to bring our dog! Maybe some throw rugs to catch the extra dirt? Location is OK- not a ton to do but towns are near by if you need essentials. Wld love to see the wood burning stove back in. Overall definitely worth the money and we wld definitely go back and recommend.

Extremely Unique Experience!
We went there to escape the city and to celebrate my partner's birthday. The location was private and beautiful. The surrounding was very peaceful with all the trees and the walk to the river was very close. The property was nice and clean. All the essential appliances were available for us to cook meals. They even provided coffee and tea! Overall, it was an extremely unique experience and we plan to visit again when it’s warmer. Our only concern is the dirt road. We were a little scared that due to the melting snow there would be lots of mud and our car would get stuck. It would be nice if they could put some gravel on the floor. Oh yes, another small thing. Maybe it’s because of the cold but most of the DirectTV channels were constantly giving us a 771 error. We didn't get to watch TV at all. Then again, we should be out enjoying the wilderness. Lol

Perfect for a getaway
My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary stay here. Even though the weather was cold the cabin was nice and warm and close to several gas stations and grocery stores. Our dog had a blast running around wherever she wanted, and the cabin has no close neighbors which is exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for the great stay!

Nice little escape
We stayed for a week. There were enough towels, toilet paper, bedsheets, paper towels, etc. to accommodate our stay. Anything else we needed just required a quick drive to town to Walmart or Fleet Farm. But that also meant that we were able to hear the highway from the cabin. You could feel the cabin sway a little whenever someone walked around. If you wanted to use the fire pit, you would have to supply or gather your own firewood. The indoor shower was a nice option if you don’t feel like taking one outdoors, but it was lit with tap lights only so it was a bit dark. There were multiple options just down the road for ATV trails, but walking trails required a bit of driving to get to. Any questions we had were promptly answered by the host. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, sitting out on the balcony, sipping tea or coffee, just watching the wildlife.

Hide-away Tree House
We wanted a quiet getaway. This was it. A secluded adventure, not too far from small conveniences, with plenty of quiet. Recent rains meant lush vegetation and some swarms of flying insects. I couldn't make my way to the stream for fishing. We had plenty of time for reading and off-campus trips. We have experienced summer in the north woods.

Perfect getaway
This is then second time we’ve stayed at the treehouse and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We went in the winter last year but were able to enjoy the nice weather and the outdoor shower this time. Enjoyed fires in the fire pit and local berry picking and fishing. A great escape from reality!

Great quiet spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very clean property with lots of amenities. Be careful of the bathroom, I managed to somehow lock myself in, most likely my own fault but just a warning.
