The restaurants and cafes nearby were endless which was a delight. The apartment is quite large which is great, and if you are planning on working the wi-fi was one of the fastest we had on our trip. The only note I'd say is if you're hoping to stay for a longer stay and cook a bit the set-up is a bit limited (for example we never found scissors). But plenty of the normal pots and baking pans. The flat was very clean and quite spacious. We felt the furnishings were very spartan, and it would have been nice to have a full length mirror. Labelling the keys would have been helpful, as we were a little confused at first. Parking is very expensive, but that is not the owners fault, as it is the same all over the West End. Just a few steps to make it perfect; Cleaning needs to improve. When I arrived there were dirty contact lenses and old make up brushes lying about the place. Also, the bins hadn’t been emptied. The kitchen surfaces were dirty and I had to go out and buy cleaning spray and hoover the place. Heating - it would be good in winter for the heating to be put on before guests arrive - it was bitter on arrival and with it being an old building with high ceilings it took hours to warm. Welcome pack - who doesn’t love a cuppa after a long journey?
