The location in the West End was great. Lots of bars and restaurants right outside the door. Kelvingrove Museum, The University of Glasgow with the Hunterian Museum are very close. Not far from the river. Communication with Suzy was excellent. Check in involves a lock box on the wall outside the building. The apartment was clean. The kitchen well equipped. Although if you plan on doing your own cooking I would recommend purchasing cooking oil as well as salt and pepper and any other condiments you might use. The refrigerator is half size but perfectly adequate. The bed was very comfortable and the nights were quiet. We found the shower a bit tricky to get the perfect water temperature. As a bonus, the entrance to the subway is literally out the back gate! ##### Robert R. All within minutes (if not immediately downstairs!) The apartment is beautifully decorated although once you scratched the surface there were things that needed attending to (toilet that ran, some kind of faulty wiring so one light didn’t work, a broken mirror frame, slightly leaky faucet). None of these things impacted the usability of the apartment and the host, unaware, was appreciative and apologetic, stating she’d have it looked into immediately.
