The hotel had limited off site parking, so ended up having to pay for street parking which was quite expensive. The room wasn’t the most comfortable and it was a bit overpriced for what it was. Only small criticisms is a very wobbly wardrobe in the room which didnt feel very safe, no toiletries in bathroom (soap dispensers empty), and a poor choice of drinks in room. We had to leave early in the morning a few minutes after the dining room opened for breakfast. He took our order the night before and had it ready for us before the Taxi arrived. The location is beautiful and close to many restaurants and the botanical gardens and a pretty walk along the river. Rock hard bed that seemed to be on a slope. Cheap pillows and duvet. Modern fitted bathroom but sink so small the floor was soaked when trying to wash. Pleasant staff especially lady in the breakfast room. No just go in and get the breakfast you have paid extra for or we will refund your money as you didn’t get your breakfast.
