Paving stones uneven and a bit of a tripping hazard. All the internal storage cupboards were locked. Small wardrobes available, drawer with no backs. The middle bedroom smells strongerly of damp and evidence of same in cupboard. Lots of personal items though out the house. Limited electrical sockets and wifi that was so poor we were unable to watch movie . This was a base for us during a renovation and as a result we still needed to run a business from it as well as be on top of renovation materials, unfortunately not effectively . The surrounding area was quiet and although not in the most picturesque location itself, the harbour and shore were only a couple of minutes walk away. A very comfortable cottage. It is well equipped and in a lovely, quiet area. We would certainly stay there again as it’s close to Culzean Castle, Ayr and the ferry to Arran. We were very impressed by the amount of equipment at the cottage. A far cry from one of our cottages last year, when we had to go and buy some toilet roll and washing up liquid the day we arrived!
