"A very nice location. Very roomy house. Hot tub was awsome & nice big windows. This house would be great for a group of say 4 couples or more if you booked the other smaller biuldings on the property. I did feel 2 things lacking. A nice blue tooth sound system would be great & the kitchen could be better appointed, for instance no olive oil or vinegar for egg poaching. A large cast iron fry pan would be great. Just a suggestion. Anyway for us as a couple wanting a nice night alone its perfect. Its a big house for just 2 but the privacy aspect exactly what we wanted. As for location only 10 minutes from Gloucester, great butcher, IGA pubs & cafes"

"Unfortunately for us we stayed whilst a severe weather event impacted the entire mid north coast of NSW so our hiking and mountain biking plans weren’t able to be met. The property is as presented and very comfortable. Our hosts were also very communicative and generous in allowing us to stay longer, should we have needed to, due to the significant flooding in the area. Very much appreciated. "

"We were on a motorcycle trip and were pretty wet and dirty! These rooms were perfect for our group and for the cost, we were happy. Hot showers and comfy beds were all we required. You are walking distance to everything in Gloucester from these rooms."

"A wonderful "escape" from the city, but only 5 minutes to Gloucester for a coffee and some groceries."

"It was great being so close to the little stream that runs past tiny house. We were fortunate to be there during quite a rainy period and the stream turned into a gushing river which was music to my ears while falling asleep with the door open. The cabin is cute and very tidy with thoughtful local insights and books and games to keep us occupied. "

"This is the second time we've stayed at this property and it is simply amazing! Located in the rural town of Barrington it is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting. With three bedrooms, two toilets and a large open plan living / kitchen area the house is ample for a family or two or three couples. The house is equipped with the basics like oils, sauces, dishwashing tablets as well as books, DVD's and games. With a crystal clear pool and over an acre of mowed lawn it's the perfect getaway only two hours from Newcastle."

"Property just outside of town so you can grab anything you need quickly. Beautiful setting, woke to the sounds of all the local bird life and the beautiful foggy valley while watching the sunrise coming up from the mountains. So many animals from the cows grazing to the little magpie that would come for a snack to the green tree frog that would come and croak at night plus rock wallabies that would be hopping past. The surrounding Barrington tops National Park was spectacular views and bush walks. Thanks to all the lovely locals that welcomed us into their beautiful town and a very special thanks to Dan for sharing this little piece of countryside with us."
