It was really cold because the air conditioner had gaps, and along with the hot air, icy air from the street was also coming in. There's a disco bar above us on the next floor, and the walls in the room were shaking from the music until about 3-4 AM. Oh, and the view from the window is beautiful, but it's not so beautiful through the dirty windows. (162 reviews) Great location with cozy rooms. Take note that the stairs may be physically demanding, and the space may be challenging for claustrophobic folks, particularly the restrooms. The heater in our room had issues so the front desk brought us a portable one to use, which was very kind considering the snow storm. This is a great place to stay in NYC for the location and value.
