"We had a delightful visit to Avignon, using all three apartments offered by this host. The apartments were spread across four floors and provided plenty of room for my family to spread out. As the listing states, it is eclectically decorated with lots of odds and ends all over. We could never locate the laundry machine, but there was a great laundromat nearby. The location was superb for exploring Avignon."

"L'accueil, le confort, les attentions tout y est. Le lieu et son calme, la terrasse, l'aménagement intérieur et extérieur tout est là pour un séjour agréable. Juste une petite remarque, l'annonce parle d'une chambre et d'une cuisine. En fait, c'est la même pièce mais cela n'a rien de gênant. Un mini bémol que nous avons expliqué à notre hôtesse : les WC, séparés de la douche certes par une cloison, n'ont pas de porte. "This is a really special hotel suffering from under-investment. The staff I met—from the front desk, to housekeeping, and the bar/restaurant—were all working hard. But there were never enough of them to make the place run smoothly. The beautiful property (ok, except the “modern wing,” where rooms are more akin to SROs) just isn’t being maintained lovingly. From a clogged shower drain, knicked up furniture, and broken glass louvered walls, to an inability to serve room service while hosting an event in the courtyard, lots of indications the place is under-staffed. The facilities crew obviously hadn’t done a routine check of basic systems in a while and the kitchen staff served exactly the same foods every breakfast. If the owners would just invest, this could absolutely be a 4 star property of the finest kind. As it is, expect kindness and a 2.5 star experience."

"This hotel is amazing, a little quirky maybe but amazing. The staff are so friendly and keen to make our stay comfortable. The room was very small but that wasn’t an issue at all especially as they have a lovely terrace on the first floor. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel but there was complimentary fresh coffee along with tea and water, and I’ve always available. There was also a communal fridge which was perfect as we were making our own lunches and could keep beer and wine cold for our Appies on the terrace in the evenings. Wonderful place to stay, would definitely recommend to others."

"Poor breakfast. Too crowded .serving area too small. No access to get the food or drinks. Lack of food.. ran out ..because not enough availability to meet demand. Did not help because people made take out. Staff poor. Room on roof lovely. Clean . Great shower No coffee. Would recommend only if you don't have breakfast"
