"This is probably the nicest hotel in the area around Virginia. It is clean and well kept inside and out. A very good breakfast - I liked the biscuits and gravy. Coffee was available all day long. Our room was large and well kept. The location of this hotel is very close to Virginia and the surrounding communities. The staff was helpful and quite nice. No complaints. I would stay here again."

"Very clean rooms. The breakfast was good. They serve soups from 4 to 6 Sunday thru Thursday. The breakfast crew during the weekend was excellent. They made sure the food didn't run out. The breakfast crew during the week needs people who aren't sitting in the lobby on their phones. Guests shouldn't have to constantly ask for coffee or food."

"The unit was very tidy and decorated to feel very welcome! The road it is on is currently under construction, so it was difficult to reach, but I’m only seeing that as meaning future guests will have a new smooth road to drive on. The only critique we had was the bed set up- it’s very ideal for families to stay in, but a little more privacy for non families staying in the main living space would be ideal. Even if it was just a privacy curtain. Would really recommend as a great alternative to staying in more expensive places in the area when visiting!"

"We all had a great time. The house was very spacious and clean. The grandkids loved swimming everyday and catching all of the craw dads at the beach. The weather was great. I just wish the fishing was much better."

"Perfect set up. In town, but feels isolated in the woods. Plenty of parking. Only concern is no air conditioner. Nights were cool so it worked out fine. Highly recommend!"
