"Very conveniently situated on the outskirts of Gunnedah. Yes a little noisy with traffic going past but the room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. It was clean and a toaster, kettle and fridge made oir stay enjoyable. We ate at the Station hotel. Great food and reasonably priced. Within walking distance of the Overlander"

"We stayed at this motel for one night and were happy with the location. It was in walking distance of a number of eateries. The room was clean and tidy and had all essentials. The lady at reception was very lovely and helpful. The motel itself is a little dated but otherwise I would stay again "

"Very good value, and perfect room for someone with movement issues ( walk in shower etc). Has many facilities not listed,including microwave, frig, tea/coffee, beautiful linen and very comfy bed. The manager could not have been more friendly or helpful."

"Although this building is a little bit older, and from the outside, looks fairly ordinary, this place is a nice little hotel with a really nice bed. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the shower is pretty good. Good water pressure. It’s got a really nice place to have dinner across the street and is on the main strip in Gunnedah so if you want to go for a walk or do any shopping, you’re not far away. A good bed though will win me over every time, and I doubt I will try anywhere else in this...

"Great place to stay in Gunnadah. Room was spacious. Bed was comfy. Aircon worked a treat. Bathroom was big and shower was hot. Little kitchenette area with fridge, toaster, kettle. Cups, cutlery etc. Loved the size of the bins! Sick of small ones. Definately will stay again next time and recommend the Lodge to everyone. "
