Ghent Holidays from £833

Our room was newly renovated. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. We didn’t realize it was only opened for three months which explained why some of the rooms were still being renovated.

The cabin and grounds are well-maintained. The pool was crystal clear and the slide was a nice addition. Gorgeous views!

Made the mistake of going on 4th of July week. They Had an event charging 100 a person more to eat and see fireworks. otherwise no dinner. Restaurant was closed. But luckily we could see fireworks from our balcony, yet there was a gigantic tree blocking our whole view. We didnt eat, we didnt see fireworks, I went there because It was haunted. I like ghost hunting and it was my reason for choosing it. Somehow I booked through expedia yet they booked someone else the haunted room I choose when booking. It was a bout 10 rooms away, up 2 hallways. Breakfast was a few poppyseed bagels and a plate of berries, and a fly buzzing around it. I've never been so disappointed with circumstances of how this all happened. Im sure in any normal circumstance on a non joliday week, its a great beautiful elegant haunted place...but I clearly chose the wrong week to come. Our room was clean and beautiful, and our bathroom was really nice. But I won't be back, unfortunately.

We had rooms on the first floor, both had a damp and moldy smell. The breakfast was adequate but the warm section ( eggs, sausage, hash brown) doesn’t get replenished often enough and there was always a long wait. Now onto the good part- bathroom was well updated, rooms are clean, parking was easy. Location was good, walkable to town center.

We enjoyed the style of the Motel—brought back memories of long ago. It was impeccably clean and everything in the room was fine. We were only there one night but it was a very nice, reasonably priced by the night instead of 2-3 night mandatory we had seen. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and settling in was easy with parking right in front of our unit and straight in with no stairs or hallways to wrangle luggage through. If you are looking for an adventure, this motel will give you and your family a fun stay.
