"A disappointing apartment, certainly not worth over £110 per night. Very basic with unattractive furnishing. The advertised 'parking on site' is only 1 space for 2 apartments and was not available on our arrival - this should be made clear in the listing. There are cameras on the balcony and hot tub so we did not use either as it was so intrusive. When we arrived the bedsheets and towels smelt awful, they came to change but hardly any better. "Absolutely lovely! Tucked away in a quiet alley, this centrally located property felt like stepping back in time. Despite being right in the heart of Gozo and steps away from the busy town square of Victoria and the Citadella, our stay was peaceful and pleasant. You’d never know you’re a short walk from the hustle and bustle. Centrally located, reasonably priced, and incredibly charming with communicative hosts. Highly recommend!"

"Wverything in the hotel was excellent 👌👍 rooms, spacious, comfortable, well maintained, nice partial ocean view. Food in the restaurants (HB) one of the best we had in the hotel's buffets. We travelled a lot. 3 outdoor Swimmin pools, heated salted water - very warm and comfortable to refresh in almost 40 celsius outdoor temperature. Private beach and sunbeds available. Towel station. What not to like? :)"

"We just got back from a fantastic getaway to the Radisson Blu Malta. Our suite was incredible with a huge terrace overlooking the tremendous pool and private beach below. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was tasty with so much to choose from. Overall perfection!"

"The Verdi is an awesome hotel, the staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a clean room everyday, ate at most of the restaurants that were all excellent and the pool / beach area was enjoyable, clean and necessary for the heat. I will say the area that the hotel is in is very geared to party people and young adults. We did eat at some great restaurants a new kms away but if I go back to Malta I will most likely stay in a different area. I am also looking forward to when this hotel is free of the construction surrounding it, it makes for the streets to be extremely busy and blocked off. However I can’t stress enough how this is not the hotels fault and the hotel itself deserves 5 stars."

"Great location and comfortable stay The location of 115 The Strand Hotel is fantastic, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were kept clean, which was a positive. However, we did have some issues with the air conditioning, including a leak, and there were signs of damp and mould, which was disappointing. If natural daylight is important to you, I’d recommend booking a balcony room which is lovely but we also had one of the standard rooms it had no natural light at all, just a concrete wall outside the window. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of options. The front-of-house team were lovely and welcoming, although the restaurant staff weren’t particularly pleasant overall. Only two members of the restaurant team were genuinely engaging and friendly. Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location, comfortable beds and clean rooms, but the air-conditioning, damp/mould issues and lack of natural light in some standard rooms are worth considering when booking."

"A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt."
