"Lovely spot, only a minute walk from the station. Beatiful view of the snowy town, above a bakery and only 5mins from the shops. Room was lovely and roomey for two friends on a serendipitous 1 night adventure. Great heating and fancy tap which gives you hot water, mineral water, sparkling water and mild sparkling water! Top Gerstungen Hotel Reviews

Hotel Haus Hainstein

Hotel Haus Hainstein

10/10 Excellent
"A delightful hotel! I wish I had had the time to stay longer. The property is beautifully maintained, the staff extremely friendly, my room was impeccably clean, comfortable and extremely quiet, with a breathtaking the view of the iconic Wartburg castle (be sure to request a room facing it). Breakfast was sumptuous and the attendant most courteous and friendly. It’s an attractive old building with charm and atmosphere, and ideal for visiting the Wartburg which can easily be reached by a 20 minute walk through lovely woods. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely come back, for a longer stay next time!"
