"The house was great. As advertised and perfect for what we needed."

"Good accommodations for the price. We used this house as a base for road trips each day so we were only there to sleep. Well stocked with supplies and kitchen needs. The attic bedrooms were very hot but we made do with the multiple fans provided. The house had a "rustic/cabin" atmosphere. NOTE: The toilet in the front bathroom leaks leaving a wet floor."

It was clean and designed to accommodate 2 small families comfortably. We were able to visit several popular areas in the UP from this location also."

"Twin beds are very comfortable and have stable frames. (no rickety beds here!) There are 2 additional cots available as well. The en suite bathroom has safety rails and a built in seat which was perfect for my 78 year-old mother. The front steps are a bit of a challenge if you have any mobility difficulties. "We stayed here as base camp for exploring Pictured Rocks with 2 young kids and 2 adults. Cabin was very clean and a nice quiet location. We did hear the dogs at the nearby dog sled camp at night howling, but it wasn't that bad and usually didn't last long. We just pretended it was some Wolf's howling. WiFi worked good, cell service is very poor with Verizon. We never tried the TV. Newer propane grill was nice. Outdoor table only has 3 chairs and was in pretty rough condition and is ready to be...

"We took our Grand Kids to see some of my wife's heritage and snow. It didn't snow late December. The dogsledding adventure turned into dogs pulling an atv. It was still fun. We substituted tubing to see the nearby parks with waterfalls and a pully barge over a springs. Ice skating in the Sault Ste.Marie was a Great time. The Movie Theater was very Nostalgic. The Village of Newberry is a very Nice place."

It's just a portable unit that is probably capable of dealing with room less than half the size of the property. "This home made our vacation so much better! We were so impressed with everything that is available in the home and how well everything was stocked! There was also more than enough room for everyone(4). We loved that this home was only 1 hour away from some great hiking spots, and Pictured Rocks and Tahquamanon Falls! The colors were amazing, it was like it was peak when we were there! Overall this was a great home and vacation. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family of 4 stayed at this house for a short getaway to ride the trails around Newberry. The location has easy access to the trails by sled, as well as a gas station. Being in town, restaurants and grocery stores are nearby and available. The way the driveway is situated makes it easy to pull your trailer in for loading and unloading your equipment. The house was cozy and there was a nice mud room off the back for all your gear. The host was responsive and accommodating. We would stay here...

"We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The property and lake are beautiful and the house is very roomy for large families. We came for ice fishing and caught over 20 pike in a few days. Management was also very responsive when we had a question."
