In 10 Minuten ist man in Gerardmer mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, viele kulturelle Ziele und Wanderrouten sind gut zu erreichen.Das Haus liegt im Wald, es ist sehr gemütlich und sauber, es ist alles da was man so braucht. Wenn es doch mal kühl sein sollte gibt es einen schönen Kamin. Die Vermieterin wohnt gegenüber und ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Mit 3 Personen hatten wir sehr viel Platz, haben gerne auf der Terrasse gegessen und die Wanderwege direkt ab Haustür genossen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Bad,Dusche, Waschmaschine, Terrassenmöbel, alles ist vorhanden und funktioniert. Die Gastgeberin ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit, hat uns mit Brennholz für den Kamin , Küchenkräutern aus dem Garten und sehr guten Tips ( Boulangerie, Autowerkstatt) geholfen.
