Located in the heart of the Forêt d'Orient Natural Park, 25 minutes from Troyes, Le Bivouac is a single-story holiday rental adjoining another holiday rental (with separate entrances and patios) and equipped with all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay and the guarantee of an incredible change of scenery. The view of Lake Orient and the immediate proximity to the beach are real highlights. The beach is 500 metres away, with a 28-km bike path right outside the cottage; there are also opportunities for other bike tours. Bike, scooter, and paddleboard rentals, as well as fishing gear and mini-golf, are available on-site, and there’s dining on the beach. On nice days, you can rent a unique guest room in the annex for 2 people (€40/night), without a bathroom. TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: Champagne vineyards (36 km), Renoir’s House (41 km), Clairvaux Abbey (45 km), Charles de Gaulle’s House (52 km). The cottage features a spacious, fully equipped kitchen; a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove (wood provided); a lounge area; a dining area; a bar; and direct access to the patio and garden. Sleeping arrangements: one double bedroom (160x200 bed) with a patio/terrace (deck chair + patio furniture), and one twin bedroom with two 90x200 beds. You’ll also have access to a bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sinks, as well as a separate toilet. Outside: you’ll enjoy a wooden terrace, a courtyard, and a private garden with beautiful landscaping. Enclosed and secure parking. From June through September, you’ll have access to a shared indoor pool (16 m x 5 m) with the owner or guests from the second cottage, heated to 28 degrees. Heating, electricity, firewood, air conditioning, and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the price. Beds will be made upon arrival, and towels and linens are provided.
