Bon point de départ pour : le lac de Gérardmer (magnifique feu d'artifice du 15oût, pédalo, bâteau, commerces), le Lac de Longemer (baignades, pédalos, etc.), Le Hoeneck (vue grandiose sur la vallée du Rhin, l'Allemagne, etc.), de nombreuses cascades, randonnées, visites ; Alsace (Ryckewihr, Colmar, Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr, etc.) ; bref ! De magnifiques vacances et très chaudes vacances car canicule 15 j en août. Pas de ventilateur dans la maison, après renseignement, nous avions pris les nôtres : les lieux de vie étant ensoleillés dès le levé du soleil, ils nous ont bien servi. (Malgré les stores occultants intérieur, uniquement aux fenêtres des chambres, le soleil tape sur les fenêtres, la chaleur se diffuse...) ; très bonne literie, salle de bain hyper fontionnelle avec douche à l'italienne très appréciable.
