I love the history of the building and the architecture that is still there. I love how even though it was turned into a hotel you can still see the old parts of the cotton warehouse. Very well maintained for its age. We are locals and love Savannah and this hotel is a staple in the heart of the downtown district.

I was given a tour by grumpy. He was welcoming while maintaining his street cred. My room was lovely, but had no windows which I found a bit disorienting. The room smelled a bit musty. Once I turned a fan on it was better. I don’t know how much of that was just the fact that there is a crazy level of humidity in the air. It’s an old inn but very charming and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again but would make sure I got a window. The people were friendly and the inn was well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent, Looking forward to coming back to Savannah .
