"We had a wonderful stay at JEWELZ BY KING'S HOTEL. The rooms were incredibly clean and the bed was very comfortable. I must say the staffs were very pleasant, friendly and professional. . We would definitely stay here again!"
"The Grand Coastal is a wonderful place to stay. From being warmly welcomed by Kelsie, to amazing food, such friendly staff. They’re always willing to help and do the little extras. The pool and bar are so nice to have. And they’ll arrange drives for you. Extra special thank you to Brian, who drove us to try to find the house my husbands grandfather built. Highly recommend this hotel."
"Hotel is beautiful! Personally, I liked the location. I felt safe and it was quiet, and when the shops right outside the hotel are finished being built, it will be perfect. The pool area is gorgeous, I just wished they played a bit more local music. I did find issue with the timing - you'd get a time of when the pool bar/restaurant would open, but it wouldn't be accurate. Most staff was nice, but I encountered one grumpy staff member cleaning the gym (which is also nice), who got a little annoyed with me because I wasn't sure how to exit the gym door after going in to use the bathroom. I figured it out before he got to me, but he was grumbling, when all he had to do was tell me to swipe my card. Another issue I had was that one day I bought food from outside and sat down on a table in the lobby area, in the back, close to the bar. I was told by the person working in the bar that I couldn't eat there. She was nice about it and I understood that she was just doing her job, but that's ridiculous! Guests cannot eat in the lobby? Lol. I have been to about 50/60 hotels in my life and I have never been told something so ridiculous. Wait until the coffee shop opens across the road - tell people they can't eat in the lobby then lol. I think management needs some lessons in hospitality. If the hotel wants to strictly be a business hotel, then put up a disclaimer that the hotel does not serve for personal vacations, but guess what? Business men eat too, ha! I'd stay again."
"Great location for local markets/foods and restaurants, but makes for heavy traffic near by. Casino is just 5 mins walk.
Staff is very helpful, caring & cheerful and have decent free breakfast.
Couple of negatives: Rooms are not fully sound proof and lift is very slow."
"This is a newer hotel so everything is brand new and clean still. The pool and pool area is beautiful. The bar and restaurant closes early so its very difficult to get something to eat or drink past 10'ish, you would have to call a cab and go some where to buy whatever, The breakfast spread really needs to be more vast, this is an international hotel, needs to be more options and MORE STAFF. Its $20 pp, one day I literally had 1 piece of toast and a coffee and was still charged $20 for that! Ridiculous! Besides this, I think this hotel has great potential and can definitely be enjoyable to most. Its closer to the city, not not walking distance to food or anything like that, You'd have to drive for sure or take a cab"
"I book this hotel last minute for two nights because it was very accessible to get around Georgetown and catching up with friends and family. The staff was very polite and helpful, My room was very clean and was able to enjoy some late night on the balcony. I would recommend some kind of fruit to go with the breakfast. Thanks for the unlimited coffee and the complementary snacks, juices and water in my room. Will definitely stay here again. I felt safe and secure."
